So I purchased 4 of these solar cameras.One covered my driveway, One my front door, One my deck by my slider and One covers my back yard. The cameras are great all around except for the fact that only one user can be logged in at a time. That's dumb ??. That means only one phone or tablet get alerted when ever they detect motion and if my wife or kids tries to view the cameras my phone gets logged out automatically. For this reason I will be returning them....
My original review was all users error. After a couple emails with the seller who has been awesome at responding, the cameras works flawless. Apparently each user has to create their own account individually then the main user shares the cameras with them. Pretty simple...I'm extremely satisfied with the product and the sellers efforts to assist with any issues.

Last yeah, we actually saw moose in our ER for the first time. Since then, because of cobit I believe, many wildlife has been out and about in our area. We also have a birdhouse where we get various animals and luckily we don't have black bear so far but it's very interesting to see different animals with this camera.
The installation is very easy and the setup is simple with the app, the camera was up and running within a few minutes. The solar panel seems to be charging the camera even during cloudy days and we have not had any issue with charging the internal battery.
It has me several times already and had snow for the first time the other day but camera works beautifully in the PTZ control works amazingly well!

The camera was fairly easy to set up. It took several tries to pair it with the Wi-Fi but every device I have ever added like this requires several attempts to pair. Customer service was excellent I used the chat to communicate with customer service. They were very patient and helpful. I had a problem with the wording they used to instruct you to create a password. The technician directed me and sent me a sample password to use to login and from there he checked back with me several times to make sure that the set up was complete and I had no more questions. I do not know what time zone they are in but the customer service rep that I was chatting with was up with me until almost midnight. If you buy as many gadgets as I buy that need technical support I can tell you that the customer support is most definitely excellent. I purchased this camera because I bought a beach house in Mexico and it is made out of concrete. There is nowhere to run cables so this is just perfect there are no cables so all you need is the sun and a Wi-Fi connection and you are good to go

The setup is so easy, picture quality both night and day are great. Sound picks up everything, turn volume up or down or off. Microphone through the app to the camera works great. Loved the first one I bought so much I bought three more, now guarding all four corners of my property. I also love the maneuverability of the coverage, left, right, up, down. My cameras are on post completely away from any power source, strictly powered by the solar panel. Just follow the easy to follow directions to setup, download the free app to your phone first and charge the camera battery to 100% first before going strictly to power. I don’t use a SD card but recommend it as the app has a history function that allows you to go back and capture pics or video, that will be my next purchase, should have installed before placing camera but will be easy enough just to insert. This camera is great, its not as clear as vivant or simplysafe cameras but it does the job and is a great camera for the price. It has a motion light and audio alarm that you can turn on at night and it will go off when it detects motion. We had Cove security and cameras and made the switch to Dekco after having our car broken into 3 times and seeing nothing on our Cove Camera. It's such a difference! This camera is amazing- you can set it to high sensitivity and it will pick up everything!! We have it to medium and it still notifies and records everything we need it too.
Some things to note- you must have an internet service that allows you to split your data between 5g and 2.4g since the camera only can connect to the 2.4g network. You also need a cellphone to connect the cameras to your internet service. You will also need an SD card in each camera and will have to go to the storage settings to format the SD card before it will record. Your SD card can only hold 125 or less or it won't be compatible. The app cloud edge is free! Yes free! For self monitoring and if you want additional storage in the cloud you can pay a small monthly fee but it's really not necessary as it's so easy to self monitor!

For those of you stating that the micro USB does not fit in with the weather gasket in, that is an accurate. You need to put some pressure when plugging in with the gasket, you will then feel it slide in with more ease the further it is pushed. This makes sense for providing a owatertight seal. Yes, I had to scratch out my license plate number. I simply took a screenshot from the live video mode. When I zoomed in, it was legible, as you can see(Hopefully Amazon uploads photos in it’s original resolution).
The second photo of me walking up my driveway is blurred out on purpose but I wanted to show you when the motion detected me walking up my driveway. That photo is actually when the video starts recording. As you can see, I would like it to start recording a few seconds earlier, in order not to miss any thing that may be needed.
Also, The third photo was a screenshot from my live video of my driveway. If you zoom in, you can see some details of the grass as well as the driveway, again assuming the uploaded photos are not downsized from it’s original format.
Lastly, has anyone figured out how to have this camera record continuously, not just with motion?

For $80, this camera is a great option for adding some security to your home. As a renter, the solar panel makes for a much simpler set-up than having to run a wire through my walls.
The App is fairly easy to setup; I did end up having to do the manual setup as opposed to just scanning the QR code from the phone screen, but that wasn't too much trouble.

So we like these cameras so far. They have great picture quality, they charge great, and they were relatively easy to install but the only thing I was not happy about is I thought it had tracking and an automatic flood light but it doesn’t. It has a flood light but only if you activate the alarm part will that work but we haven’t tried it yet. I like that we don’t have to use their cloud service and that we could use a 128 gb sd card. The cameras have performed great so far though.

Everything meets or exceeds my expectations except.., if the A.I. is turned on so that motion detection is mostly limited to human movement, it actually misses vehicles. This would be a huge problem for me, so I shut off the A.I. switches. I get more trips now, but it still seems to filter out most irrelevant stuff, (birds, bugs, etc).
The other thing was the instructions manual is really sketchy. You need to be able to figure out some important stuff on your own:).

The alarm when chosen is nice especially when you are not home or at night.
The alarm function can be turned off when you do not need it to be on.
The light function works the same as the alarm in that when something is spotted
the light will automatically turn on, this function can be turned off.
The PAN/TILT will let you look around the area where the camera is installed.
The one issue is that the picture is not great, it is good.

I was asked to review it by the company for reimbursement.
Physical setup was straight-forward. I attached the solar panel away from it to catch the sun. No big deal.
Getting the camera connected to the Wifi, even when the camera was in the same room as my phone and the wifi router, was a pain in the neck. I am a very technical person so it wasn't my lack of understanding of how networking works. It simply refused to connect. I wasted about 30 minutes trying to get it done. It eventually worked though.
The use case for me (and I imagine for many) is to monitor the front yard/ driveway in case of a break in. Specifically for me I have it pointed at my truck in the driveway as I have tools in there. The angle is not wide. It can barely get the truck and the trucks' doors. If someone broke into the truck, I imagine I would have a hard time making out events prior to actually entering the truck. If they stood in the truck bed, I would get a great shot of them.
The angle isn't wide enough to pick up cars if someone parked in front of my house. If they parked in front of my truck, my truck would be in the way. I don't pick up my neighbors' driveways at all either so it won't be helpful if that became applicable.
Night vision is ok but not amazing.
The biggest issue for me is the sensitivity. There are 3 settings. The first two settings pick up 0 events. The highest setting picks up movement of wind or something- I can't figure out why it is recording. I am recording to the local storage as I don't want to pay for cloud storage. I can review events in my history if I know the timeframe I am looking at but I would say the vast majority of the events are not applicable. I pick up passing cars, or non-events where I can't tell what's prompting the recording, mostly.
I wouldn't buy it with my own money, but I will leave it up since I was reimbursed for it. If they could make the angle wider, or adjustable, get the sensitivity worked out, and make the interface more usable, I think the camera quality itself is good.

I would like to give this purchase a high rating. I think the camera might be very good, but there are really no assistance for setting the camera up. It is all hit and miss. I think I have it doing ok, but am I missing features because there is no guidance.
I have added a star to my review. The company has reached out to me and given me guidance on questions I had on the operation of the camera and the app for my phone. They have been very helpful. I would still like to see them add an online/paper manual to assist in initial setup, BUT they are trying to help purchasers.
Taking the star back! The product is good (I think). I am still saying it needs a manual--online or booklet. I was getting all types of help, suggestions, etc. Really thought they were staying on top of things. That is until the day I upped the rating--since then? nada.

After trying and being disappointed by many other camera brands, Decko camera actually ranks ok, not the most sensitive motion detection, as it will typically miss motion when someone approaches towards the camera. Because, recording is motion activated, and without a good motion detection, it quickly becomes useless.
It's a standard camera that uses 3rd party app CloudEdge, I learned to live with the wait time to connect after trialing the more expensive Reolink with similar connection time and just as bad motion detection and buggy app (I've left a review on Reolink product).

Not working properly. I can trigger motion but it rarely notifies app. Light turns on constantly with no motion. App is up to date, camera is updated. Look for another brand
