As you can see it works! First the setup was easy, 10 min from box to working. One small caveat, no pun intended, the QR code to scan to set it up (with the free app) is on the device itself. NOT the bar code on the box. It's a very small QR code on the bottom in a very light gray ink so it can be missed if you don't look for it carefully.
It came fully charged, but I followed the instructions exactly and charged it 24 hours to be sure it had a full charge. As of now, it still has 87% charge, after getting it Jan 22 (13 days). Thus, I'm not sure it will really have "6 months of battery" like the advertisement claims, but it definitely would last more than a month at this rate. Please note though, that I turn it OFF during the day and only on at night so that might be a factor too. The firmware is up to date so that's what it is. Sorry I can't say more about the battery life, but I don't use it except to get videos like this.
The mounting is also as easy as they claim. It truly is purely magnetic, WITHOUT needing a steel mount behind it to mount. They do provide a separate mounting bracket though with its own steel backing to mount it on a nonmagnetic surface. This is not why I bought this device though, there are better ones if you want to spend the time drilling holes to mount an outdoor cam. But for the convenience of this, it can't be matched.
See the picture of how I have it now. It's not screwed or glued in any way to that (steel) lawn chair. Just put the mounting base (which is a powerful magnet) near anything steel or iron and pop! Right in place and quite secure. You'll actually want to be careful putting it in place it's such a strong magnet you might pinch a finger as it binds to a steel structure. It's been mounted like this for over a week now to get the closer shots that I wanted as in the video. In that time, there's been below freezing temperatures at night, and wind gusts over 20 MPH, and a few hard rainstorms (yes, it's totally weatherproof too!). So that's real too.
The little red light on it lights up when it's recording (it picked me up getting close to take that picture). That's how you know it's on. To be clear, it does NOT record all the time, in a loop in other words. It's motion based. I guess there may be a way to set it up as some kind of streaming cam, but I haven't looked into that.
It rotates very easily in the base, but never loses grip so you can point it at virtually any angle, and it will still be secure.
By default, the night vision comes on automatically, and full color automatically, depending on the light levels, but I think you can change it (in the app) so that the night vision is always on, or always off. I'm not sure though, as I checked now and it's not clear what the different modes there do. Anyway, it's good enough for me.
A few points of clarity for those wondering some other things I was wondering: YES, it has 16 GB of storage space ON the DEVICE. For me it wasn't clear from the advertisement if the storage was somehow cloud based (I didn't understand how they were using the words "local" and "hub", they weren't used correctly in my opinion). But it is indeed local; there is NO need to buy a separate SD card. In fact, there's no way to put an SD card in it; it has no slot for one.
Getting the videos off the device is easy enough. You can download them from the device onto your phone via the app (and a wireless connection between the two obviously). Then you can upload it from your phone to a cloud service of your choice and from there download onto any device with access to the same cloud service. Easy peasy. The charge port is also a USB-C connection, so I imagine it would be possible to connect a USB-C cord to the device directly and download them directly to a computer, but I don't know for certain as I haven't tried that. It's easy enough to get the videos as I wrote. You don't have to download them to your phone to view the videos you can stream them from the device to select the ones you want.
DEFINTELY recommend. I gave 4 stars for the picture quality because it's not true "2K" quality in my opinion but it's pretty high definition I'd say. You can judge for yourself from the video.

It was easy to set up for her and I really like that it has its own source of storage instead of relying on the cloud. The picture is super clear and the lens covers a wide span of terrain. It's also very durable, my mom dropped it on the concrete and it didn't shatter into pieces, however, the voice talk mic doesn't work now.

One of the best purchases I have made, super convenient to use and install, great pictures and recordings. Has a SD card already installed so no need to spend extra money. The customer support is outstanding, easy to reach and very helpful. One thing to note is that to capture all recordings, you need to enable both motion and person detections. I had it set on only person to limit notifications but it missed a few recordings of me going in and out of the house for some reason. I haven’t had any trouble getting a recording now after enabling both. Best of all, there are no hidden and monthly fees, don’t have anybody hassling or forcing you to subscribe in order to view more recordings. I will buy another

I have really nothing bad to say about this (spy) camera. I really like the videos, sound, color, clarity of this camera. Every time my dog, or a person walks in the view of the camera it's recording. You can change the length of how much you can record at a time. 30 seconds, to 90 seconds (if my memory serves me correctly). It does start again recording after that time. So if someone is still in there, it will start again. I really like that fact. We'll I do have one small issue I would like it to send me an alarm on my phone, besides a notification. But then it can't tell who is a no alarm person to alarm person. As it records my husband and I, plus our dogs. It does send me notification when someone is in the viewing area of the camera, it records sound very well. One really great thing is you can save several clips of recorded videos. So you can send to the police if needed. I have bought 2 more for our place.

The quality is great and battery seems ti be good although now that is cold battery seems to be dropping faster. Still not enough to be concerned. The software has worked well so far. Only sometimes it will not connect right away after getting a notification but video file will be safe down anyway. Just close app and start again and check recording. It takes seconds to fix. Just make sure you have a strong wifi across your property or wifi extenders.

I am highly impressed with this camera. After setting it up I could not get sound with my video, but after playing around I tried calling the camera a couple of times and that worked. I did turn off all alarms on the camera because I did not want it alerting anyone. The picture quality is great but has some lag in parts of recording. Both day and night are excellent footage. I love being able to use without wires. It has a wide angle which is great.
I have other cameras coming and will be trying them. I highly recommend these cameras.
JUST REMEMBER: You have to charge them so easy access it a must unless you buy a solar charger. Great product Noorio
Update; The wide angle is great I get a great view of my property. It does pick up motion from a distance of about 50’ but the it is side motion that it really picks up the he best. Head on is around 30’. The length depends on your settings and if motion is continuous. I have picked up movement from the road which is approximately 80’ away from the camera. It holds up great in the weather. Not sure about extreme cold though. I hope this helps anyone looking for a great camera.
The only downfall is the amount of built in storage 8gb, even though it is enough for my use and I have never gone anywhere near full. I do get rid of unneeded videos daily.
You also can turn off the camera if you want from your phone.

I was attracted by the discount code on YouTube! The discounted price is very good, the features are new and comprehensive, and it has the functions of most new cameras. I have been using this camera for a week and it is really good!
· I prefer outdoor cameras because I could use them outdoors and indoors whenever and wherever I want, and it's waterproof. This Noorio outdoor camera is wire-free and battery-powered. If I want to move it from outdoor to indoor, there're 2 mounts in the box for me to use, screwed and magnetic, so it could be installed on the wall, or stand on the table. Thanks to the completely wire-free!
· It works really well in my house, and I don't have to pay more for an SD card or subscribe to plans for online storage. And I could install the cam all by myself. It saves a lot of money for me, I have to highlight this advantage for sure.
· This Noorio cam works only on 2.4GHZ wifi (in the specifications), which is the same as my other devices, I'm ok with it, since 2.4GHZ cover the widest area, which is a must for the wifi camera to work well. But make sure your wifi is turned on the 2.4GHZ channel.
· Other functions are working well just like the intro: easy to set up; high-quality image and night vision; Home, Away, Sleep, Disarmed mode; simple and clear app; very sensitive motion-activated spotlight, and it's bright enough and adjustable; useful activity zones (I could set up 3 zones which surprised me); human ai detection to filter notifications - it's accurate so far, 2 switches to set up for motion detections, quite easy and clear; it will send notifications to the phone, and battery percent is shown in the app, it's smart and cool; I could find more customized set-up in the app to meet my own needs.
· Furthermore, my expectations are: longer battery life (it's said to be 180 days); accurate human detection recording in the events; will try to apply the free cloud storage for 1 year, and will update the performance of it later in the future; will test the 3 activity zones function.

As with everything and all things, there are pros and cons. Great camera, great quality no complaints here. My issues are, why does the Fire 7 tablet not support this cameras app. Alexa can't find the camera (calm down i'm on 2.4 GHZ wifi as this camera REQUIRES ). Oh and it seems to set up Noorio app on Android phone only. not sure about Apple (who cares anyway) So yeah, Noorio and Amazon need to link up and solve some issues between the camera and Amazon software, I guess. Great camera, I recommend it.

A honest review. This noorio camera was a blessing and did exactly what I needed it for. I had gotten tired of my Amazon packages getting stolen. Setting it up was easy thanks to the magnetic mount I did not use the mount that required drilling. I am not sure if the app is only for iPhones but I wasn't able to find it on my android. Quick download the app but had issues loading easy to manage the settings on the app. Over all I'm happy with my purchase and most likely will purchase another for my backyard.

It's quick and convenient when you want it. There's four in our family and we all have access on our phones. You can pull itvup anywhere that internet is available.
