PTZ Camera's are Improving!
I bought this to replace an older off brand camera that failed due to lightning. This camera is better in every way. Camera is very well built and easy to install/ setup. I love how it links to your Alexa so it can be viewed quickly inside on Alexa devices! As far as features, the auto track and up close shots work great! I expected subpar quality as my old camera was too slow to actually auto track....but this was a big surprise. The motion detection still picks up bugs at night so the nightlight feature doesn't work (unless you want it constantly on and off). I'm still working on the settings though. I liked it so much we bought one and installed for our family as well.

Great camera that works for many use cases.
I love that the app doesn't require you to login and generally the entire experience is just so easy and intuitive. I do wish they made it more clear what 3rd party services they use, that they use UPNP for remote access, etc. But generally speaking it's a great experience and so much better than the Nest camera's I had before. Reolink are somehow less money for the hardware itself AND you don't need to pay for a cloud solution to have recordings. AND there are way more camera options which is good and bad I suppose but I like learning about them anyway! So glad I ran across these and quit paying for Nest. Hopefully they last longer than the few years my Nest cameras made it.

Awesome and affordable PTZ camera!
Absolutely love this camera! It has a very wide angle view plus the ability to automatically zoom in on any motion that it senses within that view using it's secondary zoom camera. Object identification is spot on but it doesn't always track human figures at extreme distances. Also the hybrid zoom feature appears to hunt or have difficulty maintaining constant zoom on moving objects from time to time but this does not pose a real problem as the wide angle lens of the camera is always recording at a fixed focal length and doesn't miss a thing. I'm sure this product will only get better with future firmware updates so I can't wait to see what the future brings. Great camera!
