5.0 out of 5 stars I've tried many security camera systems. This is the one!!

My criteria for security cameras is as follows:
1) Good quality picture
2) Triggers at good distances
3) Records videos locally (no monthly fee and privacy)
4) Low number of false triggers
5) A good phone app to control the cameras and view the videos.
6) A reasonable price

The Zeeporte camera checks all of the above boxes.

I'll start here by saying that I've tried Eufy 2C, Vava, and Blink X2C systems. They are all more expensive (and sometimes much more expensive) than the Zeeporte. But the Zeeporte is a superior system to all that I've tried so far.

The battery life of this camera is decent. I've used it heavily over the past 6+ days with many tests. I've recorded 209 motions and it is at 89%. Since I've used it heavily, I'll estimate 10% per week which means that it'll last 10 weeks (2.5 months) on a charge. In regards to size of the memory card that you'll need, I've used .22GB of the 120 GB card that I bought. At the current rate, it will record for 1.5 years before getting full - and then I'll just reset it. It is easy to transfer clips to your phone storage (online for my iphone).

When I did my testing, I set it to the motion detection sensitivity to the highest value (95). What really impresses me with this camera is the low number of false triggers.. Really, I get none. It records people and cars and that is it. And it does not seem to miss any events. The angle of the camera did affect the distance of the triggering so try different angles.

The only area of improvement that I can see is the mount. It is fine, but as I noted in my headline, I've tried several brands now including Eufy, Vava, and Blink. All of these brands had superior mounts, but the one that Zeeporte mount is fine. I had to make sure I tightened it well. One note - the other manufacturers that I listed require base stations and do not record on the camera itself. The Zeeporte does. This means if someone steals your camera, then they will get your videos. So, just don't put your camera within reach. A camera should not be mounted low and the instructions tell you to not do so. This is probably another reason that Zeeporte does not have a magnetic mount.. which would make it easy to steal. The mount that it has requires you to screw it off.

Oh.. I just remembered another great feature of the Zeeporte. After your day is finished, you can view the events for the day (and all prior days) in a mode that shows you a timeline and lets you quickly sweep to each event based on the time and watch it. This is really nice to have!

Overall, I do recommend it 100%

For my first ever security camera I am highly impressed. I needed a battery operated camera with easy installation and this one is perfect. Set up was easy, it was mostly charged when I received it and I easy drilled it to a tree. WiFi connection is excellent, picture quality is pretty good and the night vision is really good. I noticed the picture quality is better on sunny days rather then really cloudy days. You can change the motion detection, watch live, download videos and delete video all from the free app that you download. Honestly for the price I think I that this camera is pretty awesome and far better then I actually expected. You need a microsd card and to download an app. Other then that everything else is a piece of cake. I would recommend this camera.

I love this camera, it gives great night vision even when my yard light is not on. Motion detection is great it alert me on everything it captures including the garbage man waking me up not to miss my trash guy, The birds in the attic, The neighbour talk. Even when it very windy and something is blowing across the street. Picture quality is absolutely awesome and incredible clear as day light. I call see all three of my neighbors home including mine. The voice quality is very good. If you asked me if I would recommend this camera to anyone else I would not hesitate to yes. I would recommend this to everyone. That's one reason. Why I gave this camera a 5 star. Yes it will video when you tap on the screen to see what going on for as long as you wish. The installation is easy all you have to do is charge for how long the instruction says. I have not charge mine since I put it up and it still has a full battery. This is a great gift and if you live alone and travel it's great to have because you can also put on the away button on your camera. . Ank me again and I will tell I am getting ready to purchase a second one for my home. I wish they came in a double pack. It gives me a piece of mind when I sleep at night to know I am safe. If I could give this camera a 10 out of 10 I would. I surely recommend this to anyone who is looking to purchase a camera for their home.

5.0 out of 5 stars ZEEPORTE has redeemed my confidence in wireless security cameras!

Last night was a disaster for me as I tried to get another brand of security cam to activate, I spent at least 5 + hours agonizing over the instructions, questioning my own intelligence and more 'Is it me?', I kept asking self.
Long story short, it wasn't me, it was the product, and so going to return it.

But smartly I ordered two security cams by two different companies and I'm here to say that 'ZEEPORT' has redeemed my happiness and joy and confidence in my ability to set up wireless WIFI connected security cameras...

Also I timed it, from time I started activation to time it was up and running and it took less than 25 minutes!...I"m sure those more tech savvy than myself could do it in 15 or 10 minutes or less, I kid you not.

Yes I'm a bit emotional cause coming off of a bruising night fooling around with that other security 'dome' camera system, which iI will not name, but if seek out my other review, you may stumble upon it...so yes I'm estatic right now cause ZEEPORTE delivered to me what they promised, a product that works right out of the box, a product to where you don't have to be a computer scientist to figure out, and all along the way, through each step, on your phone there's a 'help tab', in case you need help.
Their 'help' doesn't hide from you.

In closing, to be honest this can't be considered a totally full review, cause I haven't left my home yet and tried viewing camera from afar, until I do that, only consider this a 50% review.
But will say WIFI connection was super easy...I mean super easy, compared to lasts night nightmare with other product (actually it was easy also, but after wifi connected to product their 'network' did not function).

Anyways, so far so good with this product and will give another review as soon as can test away from home and see how it does then.
It's a outdoor camera, but I have it indoors for now since other products failed me, I will order more though, probably from this brand, we shall see.

I was sceptical at first on purchasing this security camera.I was looking for a really good security camera for the outside of my house.I have simplysafe for my home security system and have there camera as well inside but am not impressed with putting one of there security camera outside of the house.after reading the reviews on this camera.I figured that I would take the chance with it and see how it would perform.after unboxing the camera, and going thru the instructions which were very easy to understand.I figured I would just stick the camera temporarily inside the window seal and see how it would perform, before I mount it.and I must say that I was more then pleased with the clarity of the picture.as you can see from the above pictures.shooting thru the window from the distance that I had it was outstanding. Which I plan to install outside which will work great with my motion lights outhere. As far as the motion sensor it picks up motion great .you can adjust in the setting to suit you,it also has a home mode along with an away mode...as far as battery life I will have to up date in a later review.it came fully charged and seems to be holding pretty good.I must say if you are looking for a really good security camera,I believe you will be more then impressed with this one.Hands down it beats my simply safe cam hands down and for alot less priced.

I have all good things to say about this camera.

We use it for a nursery cam. And let me tell you! I am so glad I decided to spend a little extra and get this camera. We had one of those standard 20 dollar cameras prior to this. Is was fine for the last 3 years. Now that daughter turned 3, and actually started this several months ago, she began figuring out that is how mommy could see what she was up to in there. And she then learned how to unplug the micro-usb cable from the back of it. Even when I had it mounted on the wall. I have had to buy many a replacement micro-usb cables as the part would get bent every time she yanked it out. Until finally the port itself was messed up enough thag I was going to have to order another cam. So in my search for a replacement it dawned on me to search for a rechargeable one so she couldn't yank out the power usb cable anymore. I found this camera. Cost more more a disability income person would normally spend but I decided with good reviews and having the abilities I need to just go for it. And man am I glad I did!!!

The picture quality is amazing for both day and night vision. The amount of coverage, amazing. It covers the entire nursery. The old camera I would have to rotate it around to get the whole span of the room, this one doesn't do the moving left to right that I can tell, but it also doesn't need to with such a wide angled view. We have had it for about a month now and haven't had to recharge it yet. I love that it will take videos and pics. Old one did this but not in such great quality. So now I can get videos of her doing her amazing things and of her and my dance parties etc without having to hold the camera phone. So I get to actually be in the pics and videos. And the 2-way talk, [my] voice comes through very clear.

Basically, as you can see, I can't say enough good things about this camera. So yes, I would highly recommend this camera if you're looking for one.

UPDATE:
It has been 4-months if finally and for the first needs to be changed. I have had if charging for approx 4-4½ hours, it is already 86% charged. For a battery that lasts for months one would think it would need forever to charge. Obviously it only needs a few hours. We use it as a nursery cam we plugged it in to charge after daughter finally fell asleep. That way she can't mess with the cord while it is charging.
till works amazingly.

Update: I have had this camera for 4 months and old now have gotten the "low battery" warning. Which in my book is amazing!

5.0 out of 5 stars So far so great

I'm quite pleased with this device so far. I've bought 2, one for the front yard and one for the back.

Installation: Easy and took my husband less than 5 minutes per camera to install outside. Finding a good spot that has strong wifi was kind of challenging, and even in spots that have good Wifi (as far as we can tell) show up as weak in their app, so follow the instructions and let the camera test the site before installing. Don't just assume (like we did) that a spot will work because your phones/TV/whatever work in that spot. Syncing the cameras to the app was also very easy and took me about 1 minute per camera.

App & Camera quality: App is fine, we have iPhones but it works on Androids, too. Like I said, the syncing process is quick and easy. The app does sign you out after a few minutes of not using it, which can be a bit annoying. This is especially so if you get an alert that there is motion detected or if you hear a noise and want to quickly check the cameras. Having to sign in and wait for it to load takes several seconds, which normally would be no issue but when it comes to security cameras you really don't wan to waste the time.

Picture is great and really clear, even at night. The night vision works fine, everyting is still visible. You can zoom in but you can't pan around. You can hear everything as well, though obviously if they're farther away from the camera the voices are a bit muffled. You can, technically, speak through the app and have your voice come out of the camera, but in reality you have to talk quite loud for them to hear you. You can also sound an alarm from the app, and it's quite loud (our neighbors were able to hear our tests). It sometimes takes 3-4 presses for the alarm to actually work, though this might be network lag.

My husband can check the cameras from work, and he is able to have the same functionality as I do from home, which is good. He works overnights, so it's nice that he can check in on the house while we're all asleep.

The motion detection works well, perhaps a little too well. We had a flag in front of our house that we had to take down because whenever the wind blew it, it'd send off the alarm. It does not, however, pick up the movement of our cats. Perhaps the motion detection only works from a certain height.

All in all, this was a great value for the price. I'm quite happy so far, but I really do recommend these cameras to anyone who is looking for an affordable wireless camera.

I am not that tech savvy however it took me a little bit to connect the camera to my phone. I did reach out to customer service and they were pretty fast to respond considering I had to reach out via email. To reach by phone was not working which us why I had to do email.
The instruction manual could be a bit more informative, like I said I am not that tech savvy so instructions help me a lot.
The picture comes in pretty nicely, the night vision I was surprised with to be honest. I was expecting it to be full and such but it wasnt that bad at all. Let's see how these work in about a week but as of now I am planning to buy more since I like what I got.

Update: cameras are awesome! I feel much more secure now that everything is hooked up now. Once I get the funds I am planning on getting a few more of these cameras, it's worth it! I am happy with this, honestly!

I ordered this product knowing that many of the similar products like this that I have tried have not worked out well. I was surprised to find out that this one was super simple to set up, easy to use, worked well with my Internet, and the customer support was superb. I had inserted my SD card incorrectly and customer support was kind enough to help me out. This was a user error but the company was kind enough to assist me and let me know that they could have left directions a little bit clearer. Because of this, and the hassle of calling them, they just sent me a business card and they said that I could receive my product for free due to the simple issues I had. Again, this device is awesome and that was not their fault but I will be reimbursed me the full price of the device. Like I said, I will follow up and let you know if they are true to their word as a company. UPDATE: this company is the real deal. They are true to their word and like I said you can't beat the customer service. They follow through and they made me one happy customer!

5.0 out of 5 stars Really great quality for the price! Rechargeable battery lasts a long time!
Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2022

I was looking for quite some time for a camera of some sort to put on our porch mainly to check on when I receive packages and I ended up picking this one for a few main reasons.
1. Rechargable battery. I have no easily accessible plug near my porch, so i wanted something that I would not need to plug in. Secondly, I didn't want to have to deal with constantly buying and replacing the batteries.
2. Wifi capability and NO need to purchase any sort of data plan. A lot of the cameras i saw required you to purchase a data plan to be able to view the videos it recorded but not this one.
3. Features for the price. This camera had all of the features I wanted such as motion detection, but it also has two way calling which I didn't actually need but is nice to have, especially at this price.

As I'm writing this review, I've had the camera installed for about 2 months now and let me say I am pleasantly surprised at how long the battery has lasted. After reading some of the reviews I was worried that I would have to be constantly recharging the battery but the battery lasts a long time! Even after two months the battery is still showing as having 4 out of 5 bars, and I will often check the camera if I get a motion notification.

Installation was quick and easy. You download the app and connect it to your wifi and from the app you can view the camera live whenever you want. In theory if you're tech savvy you could set it up in under 5 minutes. I'm not as good with tech so it took me about 10-15 minutes to get it all set up but it wasn't difficult. You can also set the app so that you get a phone notification every time the camera detects motion. The video quality is not crystal clear, but really good for the price, and the voice calling actually works pretty well too. I think part of it also depends on your internet connection. On the app you can see how strong the wifi connection is to the camera and mine is a little weak so I think that impedes the image quality.
If you want to save videos you do need to purchase a separate Microsd card. At first I didn't buy the card because I wasn't sure how good the camera was going to be, but I bought a card later and was planning to install it the next time I had to recharge the batteries but even after two months the battery is still going strong.
Also, the motion detection works well, I have mine facing my front door from an eave, so I don't get random notifications when people walk in front of the house and such.

I love this camera already. I was slight disappointed about not having the magnetic mounting options as my other cameras does but after remembering how they kept falling to the point where one fell in water and quit working but they were from another company. I actually love this camera. I had problems connecting to the internet but then when it did it it amazing. I’m going to order more of these for my other home and get rid of my wired cameras!! Wish I had found these before had bought the wired set.

Update: I bought a second camera because I I like them. Had trouble connecting the first camera but eventually it connected after using a different device. Same issue with the second camera. However the cameras stop recording at some points and the cards stopped reading so I lost some important footage that the camera stopped working. Tcf wasn’t reading and I had to power off and reset the camera a lot of times before getting it to finally read. Was going to send them both back but I decided to keep them since I’ve already gotten rid of my other cameras and needed to be to at least see my home for the moments I’m away. Not worth the price for the issues they seem to have frequently with not reading the files.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Amazingly Good Quality Security Camera That Was Inexpensive!
Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2021

I bought two of these one for the front and one for the back, and I was in love with how easy they were to setup with my WIFI and install onto our house.

I didn't want cloud services (I know the drawbacks of not joining the cloud) because of privacy concerns so I wanted only a camera with SD card capabilities. THIS WAS PERFECT.

Also, wireless cameras are more convenient than wired, and I didn't want to worry about power cords and extension cords. This camera met all of my needs (outdoor, wireless, waterproof, small, and night vision)

I am still learning as far as the angle I need to get rid of false positive motions (headlights going by) and also I didn't realize looking at the live view drained the battery (now I know!) but it's given me peace of mind when it comes to home security. Will be buying another in the future to complete my setup.

I bought siding hooks as an addition for the back camera so I wouldn't have to drill into anything, and that was worth it for my situation. That was a really good purchase alongside the camera.

Didn't want Google, Amazon, or any of those companies, and wanted something inexpensive that worked, and this achieves all that and more!

I love this camera because it has chargeable batteries and no cord. We installed one by the garage as can be seen in photo. The other up above the front door. The Adorcam App is easy to use with it and contrary to ratings the app works great for me! I have 2 Wi-Fi cams on the same app and could add more. You can see the percentage of battery left in the cam before you click on play the events. You can also see the strength of your Wi-Fi. I installed this on November 10th and I still have 72% battery left a month later! I love that when I turn my iPhone to landscape mode I can hit the alarm button. It’s really loud and I like to scare yowling cats away from my front yard when they get my dogs barking at them from the back yard! I can also listen to and talk to people at my front door! You can view a live feed at any time on your phone or tablet from anywhere. If you put an sd card in you can watch the events that were recorded and even save them to your phone or tablet. Without an sd card you can only get photos of detected motion. The videos are crisp and clear. This cam is an excellent buy! Try it, you’ll love it. Especially now that you can install it without drilling holes and pulling wires! Now your husband can’t tell you that installing a camera will wreck your house siding, like mine did!

This is the first security camera I have ever purchased.

Pros:
Very easy to set up. It did take me a while to change the WiFi since I have two networks but I figured it out.
I love the app! Easy to use and navigate. It is a great app.
Battery life is outstanding.
Motion sensor gets really sensitive which is a plus. It picks up squirrels on my driveway.
It has enough options for me with regards to motion sensitivity, recording length, etc.
The mount is very sturdy and keeps the camera still.
Picture quality is more than adequate for my needs.

Cons:
Don’t really think customer service is going to be helpful. I sent an email with questions to them and never heard back. But I figured it out on my own.
The paper guide (and the app) is obviously written by someone for whom English is not their native language.

Oh, and what really makes me love this camera is that in less than a week after setting it up I caught someone unscrewing one of my outside lightbulbs early in the morning. Because of the camera I not only was alerted to what he did but I was able to file a police report and share the video with them.

I’m sure there are better cameras on the market and if I was getting one that could be reached by someone without a ladder I would want one that attaches more securely. (You can remove this one by hand fairly quickly and easily). But for the price this is a very good camera with great battery life and a really terrific app.

11/17/21 UPDATE - I INSTALLED THIS CAMERA ON 9/16. I JUST RECEIVED A NOTICE THAT IT WAS TIME TO CHARGE THE BATTERY. SO TWO MONTHS ON THE INITIAL CHARGE IS FINE WITH ME. TO REPEAT THE ORIGINAL REVIEW, I RECOMMEND THIS WITHOUT RESERVATION.

We moved into a new home and five days later had to leave for an extended trip. I purchased and installed this camera on the front porch for monitoring purposes. So here's the skinny.

1. Set up couldn't have been easier. Download the app on your smart phone, select a few settings and you're good to go.

2. Installing the camera on the front porch was a breeze. The lens gives me a sufficiently wide angle to see what I wanted to see. Note: the front porch is covered so I cannot talk as to the camera's performance if exposed to rain or snow.

3. The camera was installed six weeks ago and the battery is still going strong.

4. Accessing the camera remotely was seamless and instantaneous, even from Europe.

5. The microphone is sensitive and clear.

All in all, a fantastic camera at a modest price point. Can recommend without reservation.

The setup was very easy. Just follow the little pamphlet. You will need two cell phones for this, one with a hotspot and one with wifi (both of mine had both). You will install the app on both phones. Then while doing the setup of the camera using the app on phone 1, tell it to look for the SSDI of the hotspot on phone 1 and give it the password for that hotspot. The app on that phone should tell you it is connected. On the other phone, turn on the wifi (make sure the hotspot is off) and connect it to the hotspot of the phone 1. It should connect to the camera. When you go shopping, leave phone 1 in the car with the camera. Take the second phone with you and either connect to the wifi in the store, or use mobile data. Just click on the app an you should see the inside of your car. And never, never leave dogs in a closed car if the temperature is over 55 degrees unless you leave the car running and a.c. on and even then, watch your dogs! (in fact, leave the dogs home if temps over 55)

Bought this camera to find out who was helping themselves to the fruit on our orange tree.... charged it up, placed it outside, and waited to catch the culprit.

The camera works great.... takes still pictures when motion is detected.... stores them and they are available for viewing on the app. I didn't expand the memory as it wasn't necessary for my purpose. The camera "alerts" you through the app with a tone and an alert on the screen. Haven't had any "false alerts" due to over-sensitivity.

The battery life is somewhat impressive as I've only charged it once and it's still going strong (70% battery after about 6 weeks). Wifi stability has been fine - even at the far range of our router and through concrete walls.

A perfect camera for someone who has a specific use for outdoor surveillance without the expense and complexity of a wired system.

I've been using a
the Ring video camera for years. The night time picture quality of the ring was terrible. I wanted to try another camera and read the reviews for this one and tried my luck. This video camera surpasses my expectations. Picture quality is a 10 for daytime and the night view I'd rate a 7 overall. My ring camera's night video was always bad. If I ever needed to use the Ring videos at night it only would make out an object/person who was directly by the camera. Forget trying to make out something on the sidewalk in my front yard. You need to buy a sd card and its easy to delete old videos. Set up was easy and I'm not great at setting up tech stuff. All I had to do was charge the camera and download the app. The app finds your internet connection and enter your password and insert the sd card and the camera is ready to be put up whenever you want. It can be set up in all directions, not the case with the ring. Im happy with this camera. There is no fee for this camera all the videos are on the sd card. I have my camera set up on high alert so it is always working.
Video cameras are a necessity now a days. I had police come to my house over the winter 3 different times to view my ring camera due to criminal activity in my neighborhood. The picture quality to the street during the night was worthless. This camera cost way less and you can see the pics .

Pros -

The picture is amazing, just about as HD as you can get without having a 4K... Its really great...

The app is fairly easy to use and you do have access to many features the camera has

The cam does have voice and an alarm = also part of the cons

The camera is rechargeable and does last at least 45 days

Sharing the videos and stuff is easy with the app

Totally easy to install as there are no wires or anything like that, just screw in the mount and put it up and you are done...

Cons -

The picture is so clear, but due to HD, you can only hold so much video in the cache

The app is good, but I there was no slider for the sensitivity, If its on low, you barely get a notice... if you put it on higher it detects the wind! so you get tons of notifications..

For some reason it stops detecting motion after a while, I think it happens when the batteries get low?

It does have a two-way voice, however, the speaker in the camera is too small, you can barely hear when someone is talking, and the same goes for the little alarm sound... Kind of like a siren, but its very low, I dont think it would scare anyone away.

The microphone in the camera is not that great, my wife was talking to the maintenance guy right under the camera and I could not hear what they were saying. I think you need to be right next to it when talking for it to come over the phone.

The mount is great easy to install, but it has a twist-on screw for the side, that holds the cam in place... this screw will most definitely wear out as it comes in and out of the Aluminum holder... I think it will eventually strip and not hold the cam upsidedown again... But we will wait to see if that is the case...

Although the batter lasts from 30 to 45 days, that is all depending on the setting you have and how much activity is going on where you mount it, if you have it inside and you have the motion detection on and you are home a lot, the battery will only last a couple of weeks if that... and the memory will fill up fast...
Then you will need to bring the cam down, and plug it in, and charge it up..... The ad says the battery lasts for 3 to 6 months... that is just not the case with this.... But it does last longer than I thought it would...

So would I recommend??? - If you are going to have this in a room with not a lot of traffic or as a baby monitor it would be great, I would recommend this camera, the picture is just really amazing...

If you are looking for something that is going to be an alarm type or security purposes it may not be what you want as its easy to steal, all they have to do is grab it and pull it down, then they have the cam..

So for personal use - I do recommend
For business or pro - I would check others first before buying... check all stats.

UPDATE - 1 star added for customer service trying to make it right... But keep in mind the product review is accurate in my assessment of the product. But it also may work perfectly for you....

This company contacted me after seeing the review and has offered to refund some of the money I paid for the product, they are willing to make it right, it does show they do stand behind their product and would be willing to work with you if yours does not work as expected.... In light of this, I will stand by my recommendation, this would be a great camera for inside and I would even say for a baby monitor as well as security cam as it does have a mic and speaker...

Well, after a few break is in the neighborhood, I decided a security camera would be a good idea. I researched and this one seemed to fit the bill. When I got it, I set about linking it to my wifi. I tried for an hour, no connection. I reset the camera, manually entered all the wifi fields, moved closer, moved farther away, I even power cycled both my tablet and router. Still no luck.
I had hoped for this to actually be useable, but if it cannot connect, it's no good.

Edit: So it looks like I'll have to eat a little crow here. After my previous "bad" review, I tried again and IT WORKED! Not sure what I did wrong the first time or right this time, but it worked. Video quality looks good, the motion sensor works well (I'd like to see more range for my application) and the emergency siren feature works well. The microphone is sensitive, but the "talking through the camera just produces static. Oddly enough, the app "hears" the sound correctly.
At any rate, it now works, and I'm glad I gave it a second try.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to set up, good battery life, but picture details lacking at longer distances at night
Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2021

I found this camera very easy to charge and set up. The app on your phone is decent and not unintuitive.

I think for seeing at your doorway or other fairly close-up applications this will be excellent. I will be using it like that at my new home. But here I want to see potential vandals who are 50 feet or more away from the camera. The night shots lack detail and I doubt my ability to get an identifiable facial image at that distance, at night.

The ability to adjust motion detector sensitivity is valuable so that there are not a ton of false positives for wind movement of branches, for example. Nonetheless, be prepared for a lot of notifications in an urban area with any sort of foot or auto traffic.

Even with weak wifi it seems to be working well. Signal strength is never above 50%, usually in the 30's, but working well nonetheless.

Recharging might be a little tricky if the camera is mounted in a hard to reach location. Instead of taking it down I have found I can plug in a power brick and prop the brick nearby. That way I don't need to take down the camera and have to re-aim it after charging and rehanging the thing.

Recommended.

For the price I think this is pretty good value and, as I said, for doorway monitoring I think it will excel. Even at night I think at close distances it will be just fine.

This camera is worth the money if you would like to see a medium distance for detail. Of course you can scan in and expand the live view but with the night vision you will need a light source out in the distance for the camera to pick up on. Meaning total dark will not view at a distance. The battery is good and notifications are good. For the price this camera does what is should do. This is worth the money but do things right for the night vision past the front porch with more lighting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pros and cons and QR code hack for this security camera
Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2022
Verified Purchase
Pros: The image/streaming video and detection notification works well. I ended up purchasing another to place at my driveway. It takes photo when movement is detected and notifies you via cell phone or your device of choice. Easy to add more than 1 device. Price is fair. When viewing on your device, it shows wifi strength percentage of each camera.
Cons: QR code doesnt want to scan for me. I tried different cell phones and ipads. Still couldnt. I have dual 2.4G and 5G router so should work. This security camera only works with 2.4G. Make sure you have 2.4 compatible. If issue scanning QR code, try this: while aiming security camera 5” away from QR code on your cell or ipad/tablet, press power button on lower backside bottom of camera at same time. You will hear a beep sound. Same issue on 2nd purchased camera, so the hack works again with QR code scanning. Another con is the screw that holds the device in place. Its a short screw, seems hard to put back if installing camera in a tight place. For removing camera from location to charge up, I would expect easier install and removal. Remember you are adding another device in your home using up your wifi juice. I have too many devices now on wifi so I need to upgrade my service with cable company. This may not be an issue for you.
Overall I am happy so far with it. This review is within 1 week of use. Had not added a memory card to it. Not sure how long charge lasts since I only used for about 1 week thus far. Almost 5 star. That tiny screw and the way the assembly was designed is why 4 stars.

First of all, package makes a good first impression. The cameras look good and the first thing I did was to charge the batteries. I downloaded the app and follow instructions. ( I was concerned about this 2.4 ghz band but apparently my ATT router BGW210 works both ways (5ghz). The setup was very smooth once I stablished my cell connection with my wifi network. This is key... do not attempt set up using your cellular connection it will give you a failed connectivity. Then I just followed the apps instructions. I was really impressed by the range of these cameras: one is located at least 100 feet from the router and still transmitting good quality pictures. Night vision is excellent. I tested these cameras at night at pitch black environment and I can still see the mosquitos flying around the camera and the neighborhood cats walking around the yard... that's how good these cameras are. Delay it can range from 2 to 5 seconds in transmission (Need to work on that). Communication between camera and cell phone are good and it even has an alarm that you can control. So far I am very pleased with this purchase and I am planning to integrate two more cameras in the near future. I completely recommend this camera.

I have been buying these one at a time to place around my home for security. Placed one at the start of summer in my backyard facing my sliding door - that one gets full sun much of the time, and we can get over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for many days here. It's now the end of August and I still have 48% battery life on that one and have not yet needed to recharge it. Good pictures, good video quality, and good sound quality on the recorded videos. I get feedback sounds on the live video often, so that is why it gets 4 instead of 5 stars. The video are date and time stamped and easy to save to your computer/the cloud, as those files are named by date and time (Thank you!). So far so good.

I love the fact that I can access it anywhere and I don't have to pay any monthly subscription fees. I will most likely be purchasing another for my other entryway.

My only issue and it's a minor one, is that I do always get a notification on my phone when it detects motion but this may be a phone issue and not with the product itself.

Overall I would definitely recommend this to others if they are looking for a similar features in a product like this.

Good product overall. I have had the 3 cameras working for about 6 months since purchasing. I recently purchased a new router that works with 2.4G and 5G. For unknown reasons, I cannot get the cameras to reconnect to the network. I have gone through the setup processes in the Adorcam application on my Android cell phone. I've actually installed the app on several android cell phones and still have the same issue. The cameras fail to scan the QR code within the Adorcam application on each of the 3 cell phones used. I have the cell phones configured at 2.4G Wifi when going through the steps. Has anyone had this issue with the Zee Porte cameras after installing a new router? I have other 2.4G only devices that connect to the new router just fine.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Picture Quality but SSL Error sometimes

This is a great security camera because of image quality, motion detection sensitivity, and ability to talk or signal an alarm to scare away intruders before they enter if your home security only alarms when they actually break in (10 minutes before police comes). However, I get an "SSL Error" about twice now after about 1 month of use. I am sure someone else has provided this info but I am going to tell you how to get rid of it on an iphone.

1. Remove the Adorcam App by pushing on the icon for a few seconds.
2. Go to settings and push airplane mode on and off. Do it again just to be sure.
3. Soft reset your iphone based on your model. For X, you push the three side buttons on the right and left side at the same time and then swipe "slide power off".
4. Turn the iphone back on. For X, press the right side button for a few seconds.
5. Go to setup icon "general", "transfer" or "Reset iphone", "transfer or reset phone", "reset", and then "reset network settings", and "reset".
6. Afterwards, go back to app icon and find Adorcam and reload it.

This has worked for me, may not work for your iphone or androit.

Happy security.

This camera is easy to set up, has a clear picture and picks up WiFi really well outside. It’s exactly what I was looking for, however, I am disappointed that I didn’t receive the magnetic wall mount some reviewers received and the app does not always work. Obviously, this is a huge issue. At times, the app will not let me review videos and gives a “timed out” error message. I have tried to use the app on different devices and networks, so I know it is an error with the app. All in all, this wireless camera is a simple and effective solution for someone with relatively simple security needs.

Pro's:
-Easy set up and installation
-Great price
-Good picture quality/good night vision
-No monthly fee/contract nonsense

Con's:
-Recording trigger delay--delay in initiating recording, seems like a second or two. Where I have the camera situated, half the action is missed by the delay in initiating recording.
-Not waterproof--water (from rain) got into the back of the camera and ruined it. Would recommend sheltering the camera if possible.
-Although it claims to record sessions as long as 30 seconds (you can customize recording settings)--rarely did it ever do this. It would record an event for maybe 8-9 seconds and then re-trigger another recording 3 seconds later same length. So I would have 10x 8 second clips recorded for one event with 3 second gaps in between recordings. So--recordings aren't seamless (which a gap in recording could prove to be troublesome if you're catching some real action!). The only fix for this (that I have found) is for you to literally watch the live view and record the whole thing to get one seamless video clip.
-Frequent problems connecting to the wifi (router was literally 10 feet away). Sometimes camera would just be "offline", and couldn't access recordings or live view.

I want to give this camera 5 stars, but the first camera I ordered has some issues. It has a loose hardware component - it sounds like a loose screw inside (it's possible this occurred during shipping). Additionally, the motion detector is not working in the dark. I'm trying to resolve this with customer service and can provide an update with how it goes...
I ordered a second camera despite this issue because I like the ease of the camera. It's wifi so you can mount it on the wall and don't have to worry about running wires. It has a long battery life so that as long as yu rely on motion detection and don't constantly watch live video feed yu don't have to charge it often.
I recommend it.

I did a lot of research before buying this product and read all the reviews. It came out on top. Very easy to set up and works as advertised. The biggest draw back that want mentioned in the reviews is that it needs line of sight with your router to get good enough signal. If you consider buying this product consider where your router is positioned and whether the cameras will have line of sight with your router. I don’t know if drywall has the same effect on signal but where I am from we use blocks and steel to build our walls.

I have loved having this camera! I keep it on my porch to watch out for the opossums and cats I feed. It’s very good at picking up the motion and sending notifications!
The battery life is great and lasts for weeks. I’ve only had to fully charge it once since I bought it at the beginning of December!
My one complaint is that it makes a clicking noise when it starts recording. So when you’re watching animals sometimes it startles them. Plus the picture quality could be clearer, but it’s not bad at all. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. But overall for the price of the camera it is totally worth it! I definitely want a few more to put around my property to watch for wildlife!

The camera is indeed fairly easy to set up. The instructions are clear enough and the phone app walks you through the process of connecting to your Wi-fi and cellphone. As others have said, the picture quality is excellent and the night vision seems decent. You can see a live video feed on your phone any time you wish.

I mounted mine on the corner of the house--a few yards from my front door--with a view of the driveway, yard, and street beyond. Happily, passing cars do not trigger the system. It has features that must be tweaked: movement sensitivity, mic volume, speaker volume, alarm, etc. After testing with a second person, I found that the mic and speaker work fairly well even yards from the porch. I turned off the alarm feature.

EDIT: The movement detection Is nice... when it works. I tested it out a lot during setup and it generally did what it was supposed to: send a notification to the phone app that movement was detected, while videotaping for 10 seconds. Now though, a few months later, it only works intermittently. I'm going to try to tweak the sensitivity again and see if that helps. In the meantime, I'm reducing my rating to three stars.

Update. I’ve had it for about a month and it’s terrible. The app is glitchy, the motion sensor picks up almost nothing. When it does it shows a person walking their dog (or whatever) in the screen shot of the video, but the video itself has nothing in it. Like it completely missed the person. My boyfriend and I walk past the camera 6 times every day just going to and from work, literally never once has recorded us. Mail women comes every day and it has never once recorded her. It’s useless!!!!!

It constantly gives me errors of “JSON...” and it won’t play the video unless I download it. Now it’s constantly saying “Session closed remote” and won’t play the videos. It also gives me tons of notifications but when I check there are zero videos. I’ve tried restarting the camera multiple times.

Then when I try to delete videos it’s really slow, and a duplicate will pop up after I’ve deleted it! So I have to delete it twice.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good choice for budget WiFi security camera
Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2021

With this camera standing apart from the typical crowd, and at a lower than average price, I really wanted to like this security camera sold under the brand name Zeeporte model A4. The big problem that I experienced was only in the app that works with this camera called Adorcam. In my case I already had three similar cameras all running on the CloudEdge app. And was hopeful that we could add this nice camera to our existing network and have sll for cameras accessible together on this one app.
One of the reviews that I read had mentioned CloudEdge, so I assumed that the CloudEdge app would indeed work with this camera also. Unfortunately this was not the case, and it would have been silly to have to access the separate Adorcam app just for this one camera. That said, this would make a wonderful low cost camera if I were starting the network from scratch, and using the Adorcam app on all cameras, or simply using this camera as a standalone.

Here’s what sets this camera aside from the pack:
At 6400 mAh the built in battery of this camera is a little on the small side in regards to capacity, especially considering other similar wireless security cameras featuring 10,000 mAh capacity. That means this camera might need to be recharged a bit more frequently. Not at all a dealbreaker, and probably one reason why this camera is a bit more affordable.
The pictures and audio quality were comparable with my other three cameras, and night vision seemed to work fine as well, especially at short distance out to perhaps 15 feet. Please be aware that most of the similar low cost wireless cameras out there would benefit greatly by adding external infrared illumination, and will give you much cleaner, crisp black and white images out to greater distances even in complete darkness. Like most others, this camera has limited built in night vision.
Besides nice video and a two way intercom feature, this camera has an audible panic alarm that can be set off remotely with the included Adorcam app. Most other similar offerings do not include this feature.
Bottom line on this review is you need to understand that this camera works only with the Adorcam app, and hence you may not be able to add this camera to an already existing system if using a different app like CloudEdge for example.
There are a lot of similar Chinese made cameras flooding the market. Some appear to be copied and sold under many different brand names. So in many respects it really comes down to price.
For the low price, and it’s overall good quality this camera is worthy of your consideration.

3.0 out of 5 stars Can't get them to work
Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2022

I got two of these as an inexpensive alternative to the Ring ones. They --seem-- to be trying to work, but it's hard to tell. Why? Because:
They refuse to connect to my wi-fi. They DO detect motion even at night, but a recording comes on and says "waiting to connect to WiFi" I followed the instructions several times and neither one ever connects.
I downloaded the phone app and the camera --does-- make a recognition sound after the app generates a QR code, but then it just goes on to say it couldn't connect the camera.
I thought, ok well maybe they will still record video even if I can't see it live on my phone. Nope. I took out the memory cards (had to buy, not included) and inserted them into the computer chip reader, and there's nothing on them.
So no, it appears that these are only good for acting as a deterrent, especially since they talk after motion is detected.
Also, the specs say the battery in them should last for a month to 5 months before it needs recharging, but so far they only seem to last two weeks at a time.
Anyways, I'm rather disappointed. Just rating them neutral for now because who knows, maybe I can get them to work later if I try another network setup, but for now, they aren't fully living up to the expectations.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent camera, wonky app and setup, cheap mount & screws, poor night vision

I like the camera and its capabilities. The app is language-challenged and you sometimes need to guess your way through menus as it's unclear where features are hidden. Some display items in the app are half-blocked, as you can see in my image.

The hardware mount is pretty cheap, and the screws it comes with are the kind which disintegrate with small amounts of force from your screwdriver. I used my own, stainless steel screws and it worked fine.

I tested out the night vision and you actually get a much better image-- in the darkness-- with the night vision OFF. You can see my image taken in the same nighttime darkness and it looks great with the night vision off. You only have the option of "automatic night vision" or "night vision off" so I'm leaving it off, I guess.

The motion detection works great, but there are several ways to navigate through the app to get to the exact same settings.

I like the tf card feature, what would be *awesome* is if there were some kind of cage or secure mount you could put this in to keep it from getting simply yanked off (and thus all your recordings stolen). For this reason, I mounted it high in the eaves of my roof so hopefully a) thieves won't see it or b) they can't reach it to steal it.

Easy to set up, the vision is extremely good( day & night). My only complaint is it doesn't pick up motion very good unless the motion is close to the camera. It has missed everything I need it for, even after adjusting the motion detection numerous ways. I put in a SD card too and it still doesn't pick up motions ( unless at close range) The live feed is great as far as vision, picture quality & sound. When I first set it up without the SD card it uploaded pictures to my gallery. So as far as recommending this, not so much! Since motion is most important when you need security, this isn't it!

So these seemed to be great, minus some sound echoing. I just took my trash out and my camera didn't even detect me, which two of my cameras should have, so that's odd. They must not detect movement well at night, which kind of defeats the purpise of my order. I walked directly in the line of sight of one too and I got no notifications or movement recordings. The night vision works, but not to the distance I need it to for my yard. Update: the motion detection is hit or miss for 2 out of my 3 cameras.

I bought 3 of these cameras for my moms house 6 months ago. The picture quality and sound are high quality. I didn’t really like that you have to purchase a micro SD card to use with them. My only complaint was battery life. They lasted about 3 weeks in the beginning but after 6 months they would only stay charged for a week at best. I tried the solar panel chargers and it helped but still didn’t keep them from going dead after 10 days. I ended up replacing them with Eufy brand cameras like I have at my house. One charge last around 10 months. I would not buy these cameras again.

In short save your money and buy something of better quality.

The battery life is pretty good last usually around 3 to 5 weeks just depending on the activity. Picture quality is pretty much useless at night, I purchased it because I had an issue with people trying to get into my truck at night. I couldn't see any of their faces even remotely clear when it recorded them. It also seems to not pick up on motion as good at night missing key moments of people coming and going. I also added flood light witch didn't seem to help the Camara. Day quality is okayish.

The cam itself is pretty nice, paired with the smartphone app. Image quality is good and motion detection works decently. App and instructions are little confusing. For instance, I kept jamming the SD card in wrong way since (to me) it seems upside-down. Also was a little disappointed in the wireless connectivity. Had to put it too close to my router. Big issue was the mount which is rather flimsy and I had troubling figuring out how to drill it securely to an outside location.

3.0 out of 5 stars Alerts to phone are delayed by a minute or more
Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2021
Verified Purchase
Set up was OK. Noticed the "night vision" is black and white. Not a big deal. What is a big deal for a security camera is the delay from the time the camera detects motion until the phone alert is triggered. In my case his delay was highly variable for 5 seconds to several minutes. . Someone could be on the porch and gone long before I ever hear the alert. There is no obvious setting that I can see that will affect this time. The unit is installed on my guest WiFi network and the phone on my normal WiFi network.

Update 6/12
Changed review to 3 star. The camera does have a delay on push notifications of 5 seconds on more. Per some reading on push notifications they are not to be classified "real time" and can be delayed by connection issues, server loads etc. I've seen delays of up to 2 minutes, average about 10 seconds. You should consider this a camera to give you images but not "real time" alerts.

What I don't like is a battery life. I've had this camera up on my house for about three weeks. And I have charged it at least twice. I notice in other reviews, that the battery life was a complaint. Someone replied back that maybe you should not do the live video, something that I was doing on the first time I charged it. So the second time I charged it no, I did not do the live video feed and it's still lasted only about a week. I will be looking for a different camera with a better battery life.

Honestly, the cameras themselves are not that bad. We’ve had 4 of these cameras for about 4 months now, and have had to charge the more used ones once. So the battery life isn’t bad IMO. The image quality is good, even at night and the cameras are visually appealing to see hanging above the front door and garage. My one and only (huge) complaint is the software that accompanied the cameras. It requires you to use a software called Adorcam, and it’s clearly second rate. Many times I cannot get live feed, it will not record more than 10 seconds at a time, even if the motion persists, it will tell me there’s movement at my door, then I’ll go to the app to see it and it won’t show me anything (which defeats the purpose of the cameras!) and recently I have had a pop up ad on my app each time I open it, telling me I can get something free. Feels trashy and poorly designed. It doesn’t come with a monthly fee so I guess it makes sense that it’s poor quality. I’m past the return window with Amazon or else I would return them. If the cameras could be paired with a different software my review would be much kinder. However I’ll be switching these out soon with a more reputable brand ASAP.

It is easy to setup. However, it is flaky. For example, it often sends a notification that motion was detected, then there is no event. When that happens sometimes you can see the video of the event by going to the histogram of activity (the play button view). Sometimes it shows up here but not in events. Sometimes it does not show up in either place. Sometimes it capture motion and records and you can see it in the histogram view, but you never receive an event notification. I have no confidence that I will be notified when motion is detected, and if I do get an event, I'm not sure I'll be able to actually see a video. I have plenty of storage, the battery is near 100%, the wifi is >50% and I rebooted the device.

I had high-ish hopes for this. I was slightly impressed when I first opened it and messed with it. But have noticed some issues and after 12 hours I can't even get it to connect to my wifi 3ft apart from it. I was trying to use it in the other room, wifi router, etc is in the l/r- had the camera by the window in the kitchen, 1 room away & an open room at that. It said weak signal, but it still worked yesterday. Today...it won't connect. I could pick it up and walk closer and get it to comnect for a few seconds then it stops. The motion sensor would only work when I actually pick the camera up and move it, which defeats the purpose. And now it's stopped connecting all together so I tried to reset and have it right by my router and modem and it just does nothing (everything else wifi is working fine). Other small complaint-which it might be something I'm just doing wrong. But when it was actually working some, where I'd been playing with it a lot to test it out etc it would have lots of clips, so I'd go through and delete them 1 by 1, then go out, then back to that date & they're all still there. So I'd go in to select all, delete, confirm, they disappear, I go out and back in & its all still there again, for any day. Not sure what that's about. I'll mess with it a little more tonight and will update my review if it's worth it. Otherwise looks like I'll be returning it sadly to find another, as I need something I can trust and rely in working when I'm not here to move it and shake it. And considering it's an outdoor camera, I can't imagine it picking up wifi outside of it won't pick up wifi 15ft away.

Downloading app and set up went fairly smoothly. Camera has excellent video quality during daytime. Nighttime video quality was poor, picture wasn't very sharp and facial features were just a blur. It did pick up movement and I got phone notification quickly. Because image is stored on camera there is a pretty good lag in getting a picture of that notification. The porch pirate would be long gone before you ever saw the event. I was not able to share phone alerts and viewing, could not get that part of app to work. Getting help from customer service was a wasted effort. You send an email, no phone or chat available, and hopefully you will get a reply the next day. Reply, when it came had nothing to do with specific question, just instruction on how to use share part of app. (Same exact instructions are on app.) I really wanted this camera to work but it just didn't happen for me. 5 Stars to Amazon though. It arrived next day and thankfully their return policy allowed me to return camera. Thank you Amazon.

I ordered two of these cameras and set one up above my front door, under a covered area. Set up was ok, but keep in mind that these must be mounted to a vertical surface or on the top of a horizontal surface, as there's no way to mount hanging underneath an eve and get an upright video. I could not find a way to autorotate the video in the app. The picture quality was ok, but sometimes difficult to make out faces, dependant upon how fast the person was moving. The issue that caused me to return them was the lag time between detecting motion and recording. I had many videos of delivery drivers walking away, it never recorded their faces or front sides (they had to walk up a 10ft long sidewalk and then 5 steps onto my porch). The delay wasn't consistent, it would record some motion and not others...it recorded the neighbors cat every time she came over at 3 in the morning, but not delivery drivers at 3 pm. I tried adjusting the angle and fiddling with the app, but grew so frustrated I decided to return both cameras.

If you want a security camera to track what's going on on your property, this is NOT it! Even with adjustments and months of use, it does not function at a standard that can give piece of mind. It is inconsistent on when it picks up motion. It has picked up motion at a great distance away regularly, but close range is sporadic. And it will often send notifications of nothing being recorded on the camera. It has picked up motion at random times (for example, a car parked on the edge of my property. It did not pick up the car pulling in, which it regularly records cars doing. It did not record the person getting out of their car and begin walking my property, but it did pick up the person walking back to their car, it didn't pick them up going back on my property again, but it did on their return, even though it was all in camera range) (or another example, it did not pick up a person walking up my stairs, but it did capture them going away). And the time that it records for is so inconsistent and frustrating! There will be no motion but it will take a 30 second clip or an 8 second clip, whatever it wants. But when it is recording motion, like that person walking on my property, it stopped after 8 seconds, even though there was ongoing motion! Do not trust this product for security purposes. If you are just curious about what's going on outside, it's great to open the app and check the live feed, but if you're not actively looking at the live feed, do not trust it to accurately detect motion and capture it. Please, buy a better security camera!

Excellent picture quality, even at nighttime. The motion detection feature can be a little sensitive, but it’s adjustable. There are no reoccurring monthly fees associated with this camera, I mention it because others like “ring” require a subscription to access stored video.

There are three standard support options listed on their app: chat, email, and phone. None of them work. Nobody responds to chat request, it’s not monitored. The email link is questionable, I was told l did receive a response within two days (even two days is too long) but it’s been over a week. The phone link takes you to a place that once again lists their email address. No phone numbers can be found anywhere.

These cameras a good once you get them to work. Unfortunately this is the third I purchased and the second I’ve had a problem requiring support for.

Setting up was a bit stressful, using a QR code on phone through app to activate camera. Comes with hardware for a very basic mount. Most aggravating thing is that low wifi signal (30%) from the camera means very, very laggy response in playback, retrieving video, recording, and saving video. Phone up is crap. Notifications are not going out no matter what you do. What is the purpose of a security camera if you don't know what and then something is going on, while you're away.
Support, well not sure they have one. Good luck contacting them. I tried, but ... crickets. Not something you'd want.

- Long battery life. Got this product on July 27 charged it up to 100%, it's August 25th and it's at 51% now. It's on every day. Pretty impressive
- Motion detection has been pretty good.
- Easy setup
- Settings are pretty customizable

CONS:
- Camera is slowly dying. Every day there's a new issue with it whether it's wifi connectivity issues, not recording, or the recordings showing up glitchy. The newest one has been that recordings will simply no longer play unless I click them super fast after resetting the app. I get a message that says "Session closed remote" when I try to view playbacks. Very annoying.
- Major major major cyber security issues with this little bugger. People without a password can connect to your camera and SEE EVERYTHING, control your camera, turn it on and off, and more...
- Here's a quote from a tech crunch article that highlights the major security issues with this device and its app: "Paine said in a blog post shared with TechCrunch that the database contained about 124 million rows of data for the several thousand users, and included live details about the webcam — such as its location, whether the microphone was active and name of the WiFi network that the camera is connected to — and information about the webcam owner, such as email addresses."

Summary: You get what you pay for. If you are like me and just need a camera that mostly is just there to scare people away from something like your locked bikes then go for it. But if you need a fully functioning reliable camera. This is not the one for you. Do yourself a favor and just invest in a good device.

Also, several times when I have tried to play back a clip, I receive a message "video playback failed". I have reached out to customer support but have not yet heard back. This brings me to my last disappointment. I have reached out to customer support for three issues and have had to repeatedly email them because they take days to respond. There isn't a support phone number. The only options are "live chat" or "email". This is a joke because when you click on "live chat" it takes you to customer support email. This camera it’s good for something quick and not too expensive, I love the quality of the videos both in the day and at night. The app is very easy to navigate through and it had custom features for motion detection sensitivity and also video time recording it can go up to 120 seconds. My favorite part was the fact it can be charged and it’s wireless pretty much. Now the things that made me give this camera a two start rating was because
1. The battery does drain rather quickly if it’s set to record up to 120 seconds. It takes about 5 hours to fully charge it.
2. Even though I set it to 120 seconds it still doesn’t catch a lot of it.
3. When I try the playback it doesn’t let me see the whole video, it only shows me the same parts of the video that recorder when things where in motion . So I can’t see the before or after of whichever time frame it recorded. I don’t know if there is a setting for that but I’ve tried everything to try and see the whole day video intead of just snippets.
I really hope it’s on the settings because other than that this camera would be perfect! I’ve had other cameras that needed to be plugged in and when I went to the playback it showed the whole thing. Other than that it’s ok to have as something affordable.

2) Trying to turn off motion detection resulted in "user action cancelled" or some such error, or in the application hanging. Could not turn this feature off.
3) Trying to turn on video stream produced an error "WiFi is currently unavailable, try again later". Of course I was still standing RIGHT NEXT TO THE ROUTER.

Spent 45 minutes on the phone with Amazon tech support and countless hours trying to get it to work (installing, uninstalling app, resetting wifi, changing locations, trying to reset camera which doesn't seem to be working when pushing power button twice). Waiting for seller to get back to me. I took pictures of the errors that are coming up.
Additionally, while researching the app there were a number of tech sites stating the app was hacked.
Update, seller responded with a link that contained their name and nothing more. Had 2 more replies since then telling me to contact them, if they don't contact me. Responses were standard useless reset procedure. I returned it. Don't waste your time on positive reviews that were paid for.

I bought this camera to use in my chicken coop. It was just past 30 days ago because I didn't need it until the chickens go outside, which is right about now. I go to hook it up to my wifi, following all the instructions which are fairly simple, and it won't connect. Went through all the common sense troubleshooting. It gave me a "password error" every time. I checked my password over and over, I've restarted the camera, the router, the app, etc. I even went in and changed my home wifi password just to try something new, and still the same error. I made sure it's the 2.4ghz connection. After trying longer than I care to admit, I went through the Amazon chat to return the product. Of course, they try to troubleshoot doing all the things I've already done, but I get it, and I do exactly what they say. Same error. Now they have to have me contact the seller for a refund. When I contacted the seller, they just try to send me to another troubleshooting contact, who will have me do all those same things over and over. I have wasted so much of my time on this thing, I wish I had just spent a little more money to get a better product. And now I'm having trouble just getting a refund. Lesson learned.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broken in one week

Not even a full week andddd it’s broken. I went to go take the camera off its stand. Made one turn to “unscrew” and the camera completely snapped off from the ball joint leaving the screw stuck inside the camera. Pathetic. Called customer service to try and get a replacement because there is a one year warranty Included. They claimed to have sent an email with the sellers info so that I could personally request a replacement part myself. Never happened. Returning item today. FYI - the camera sucked anyway!! It does not capture motion well AT ALL it’s almost comical. The pictures it takes of people is mostly of the back of their heads completely missing the point of “security.” It’s so blurry that you can’t make out any distinct features of the face. The lagging is worse than all of the security cams I’ve had. An intruder could’ve entered my home, stabbed me 5 times and run off before alerting me someone was at the door. Awesome!

I decided to give this less expensive camera a try. I needed a battery-powered, wireless camera to place outside a rental property. I tried multiple times to get the camera through the setup process and never could. I emailed support, and they responded within a few hours, but they just gave me the same steps to try that didn't solve the issue. I don't know why it works for some and didn't work for me, but it didn't. Had to return it.

UPDATE #2
Wish I could give a negative number of stars. Below you'll see the problem I had with 1 of the 2 cameras I bought and the trouble I had with the company, so I won't repeat. The second camera worked well until last week. It will no longer connect to WIFI. In case you're wondering if user error or my wifi, I tried connecting it to different wireless locations AND made sure other items were connecting. So in less than 1 year, it failed. It was also kept on a covered porch where it never even got wet. Just don't buy these crappy things.

DISAPPOINTING UPDATE (see original review below)
I've now had the cameras for a several weeks and unfortunately beyond the return window. One of the cameras will not recharge. I plugged in the cord, and nothing. I tried another cord. I tried another adapter. I tried different combinations. Nothing. I brought in the other camera and plugged it in. It recharged like a champ in a few hours!!! So I knew I had a good adapter/cord combination. I plugged back in the problematic camera. With considerable jiggling, I got the charge light to turn on, but 9 hours later, the camera had gone from 3% to 9%. :( I emailed support with the information I just shared with you and received a pretty prompt response from the Chinese company. Fast forward to half a dozen more emails with the company asking me multiple times to try a different cable and to send videos (which I've done) clearly indicating that they are not reading my emails. So I have 1 working camera and a small brick. Sad, because I was going to buy a 3rd camera to watch over our pool. Now I'll be looking for 3 cameras from an entirely different vendor.

Also, as an update, I need to underscore what I put in my original post below. The wifi reception, well, it really does suck.

If the vendor comes thru and offers to replace or refund the camera, I would update the review. But right now, I must unfortunately advise, strong, to avoid these cameras. A 50% failure rate and bad customer support is not acceptable.

*****Original Review Below*****

I purchased 2 of these to monitor our front and back doors. In less than 30 minutes, I was ready to send them back. But I'm an IT guy, so I decided to see if I could figure out the issues. Now I'm keeping them. Here's what I found.

On the positive side, the cameras are small, wireless, and the image quality is excellent. Sound quality is solid. The battery life is better than I expected.

On the negative side, the directions are pathetic. The Chinese translator could have done a better job. While the setup instructions are passable, there are no instructions/guidance for tweaking the performance of the cameras. This is why I was ready to return them. The out-of-the-box setting repeatedly failed at detecting motion. With some tweaking using the app, I've sufficiently improved the motion detection. It's still not perfect, however, and if you want 100% detection, this camera may frustrate you. Most days it will detect a delivery guy, and then randomly it will miss one.

Also on the frustrating side is the WIFI connection. I have a router 6' from the front door camera. One day it has 48% signal strength, the next day it's at 98%. If the signal drops below 50%, you get an annoying message that signal strength is low. Sometimes when I try to connect to a camera, the connection will initially fail, and I have to retry. Retry has always worked, however. I don't know how much of this is the camera's fault and how much is my WIFI, but I'm pretty sure it's the camera, because I don't have issues with my phone's connectivity.

Please note that you must get the SD card if you want to record video from the camera. The cards are easy to install. Also, to charge the camera you'll need your own phone "block" to plug the charging cable into. The app is passable. It could be improved by better guidance on how to tweak the settings. But these tweaks can greatly improve your experience. I would also really like to be able to connect to the cameras with a web browser. This would be a great improvement.

So, not perfect, but passable for my basic security monitoring needs.

I enjoyed this camera for 3 months.. The night time video quality is good and the daytime is also very nice. A few days ago The backyard camera would not play video events or connect with live video.. I tried resetting the camera , then deleting the camera and resetting it, reconnecting with Wi-Fi, resetting wifi, and Every other conceivable way to reconnect the camera.. I even got on the "live chat" on the app. Unfortunately I realized after much frustration that the replies were simply coming from automated system and not a person.. No matter what I chatted, the system it would give ridiculous and repetitive and useless automated replies on how to reset and restart the camera and and check my Wi-Fi password etc. I'm not happy. Now I have 1 working camera. So basically I'm out 2 cameras because I'm not willing to purchase another to replace this poor quality product and to get a good security system I'll have to start over. Therefore my 2 cameras are basically junk. ZEEPORTE IS JUNK.

Updated: I do not recommend these. These cameras didn’t require any recharge after installing for almost three months. But now, after recharging for the first time, the cameras no longer hold a charge. In two days the battery was dead. Reached out to customer service as they were still under warranty, but no answer after a week now. Amazon agreed to refund me, will be returning these.
-End update.
I’m comparing these to my Ring cameras:
Price point is unbeatable compared to ring, without monthly subscription services.
Night vision works just a good as ring. The video quality is just shy of ring’s quality but is more than enough. The audio works well, but when talking thru the camera, the speaker isn’t very loud. But the alarm siren is a great feature, is super loud. Connectivity (Wi-Fi) is better than ring, setup is easier than ring. Motion detection and alerts work great! I love these little cameras. I have had them outside for about a month now, and battery life is over 50%. This will vary depending on your settings. The free app is also simple and easy to use.

JAN 2022 - CHECK ADORCAM REVIEWS ON APP STORE--- DO NOT BUY
Apparently a lot of us have been having issues. I reset my router password and now I am completely unable to connect despite having phone on 2.4GHz wifi. Tried contacting customer support for the ONE YEAR WARRANTY and they are from China (no hate) and they did not understand what i was saying or help me at all. Extremely upset but... Amazon to the rescue! Even after 8 months of owning this camera, they were able to refund me and I can now buy a better security camera with (hopefully) better customer service.

Do not buy this camera. It works great until it doesn't.
(From Sept 2021)
It was great at first but it does not load pictures any more, it goes off at random times but then will not show me the capture or loads it HOURS later, and sometimes does not capture movement at all.
***** The battery is already almost halfway and it's been less than a month. It says it's supposed to last 6 months. Very unlikely.
I am super excited to return this because, as you can see, my wifi connection does not dip below 95%, the router is on the other side of the door and yet I cannot rely on this camera for anything anymore. I bet all those good reviews are by people that received it and wanted to review immediately.
Buy it but if you see these same problems, remember you can still return within 30 days.

***UPDATE (Jan 2022)
NOT WORKING EVEN THOUGH I HAVE MY PHONE ON 2.4GHZ WIFI. Piece of garbage. Do not fall for the reviews.

1.0 out of 5 stars ALWAYS READ ONE STAR REVIEWS FIRST
Reviewed in the United States on May 14, 2022

I thought I would give this Zeeporte wireless security camera a try based on all of the great reviews and also the reasonable price. This even despite some reputable online reviewers, especially on youtube having given this camera a very low rating and not recommended. So, why such disparity of opinion? Amazon reviews for this are at 4.5 stars, while other reviews rank this battery operated wireless camera at the bottom of the list?

Well, I found out for myself and the results were pretty bad for this camera. The main problem is that it takes far too many seconds for it to actually recognize movement and a person. You want the camera to pick a person walking down the side walk, and then turning up your drive well BEFORE they are already a few feet from your door. And then as they leave you want more video capture than just them far away. So, the online youtube reviews were right about this.

Also the AP on this one is not good. The software requires you from your tablet or your phone to give the AP access to YOUR FILES, which the camera does not need. So, that part is kind of suspect. I do not need my wifi home camera knowing my GPS location on my smart phone while I am away.

I opted to go with some Kasa brand wifi cameras, none which require a battery so you do need to plug in the usb to a power source. But much clearer picture, a better AP and reasonably priced... even without the subscription service.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother

Bought 10 of these cameras for my home because I wanted a battery operated system. I will start with the fact that Amazon sent 3 that were in unsealed boxes. Two of those were a mess. One had HAIR inside the box and the camera was dirty as well. The accessories in the other box were open and the USB cable was missing, so no quality control with regards to the people who were smart enough to return this junk and Amazon simply sent it on to me. I returned those and the third that was in an unsealed box appeared seemingly new so I kept it.
Already half of the cameras do not work properly. I am having trouble getting them to record despite the inserted cards that I have had to constantly "format", but that still doesn't correct the problem. One camera no longer even turns on.
Now we move to camera customer service, as I reached out to them directly for support because if you are not returning the item, Amazon is useless for help.
Apparently this company is not in the US because I think my dogs would understand the problems I am having better than this customer service department. My emails get answered in the middle of the night so I can not even have ongoing communication with them. They want me to record some video and send it to them, which may be a swell idea EXCEPT THE CAMERA NO LONGER TURNS ON, which I have told them like 10 times. Needless to say, I am getting nowhere, except frustrated.
I live in the mountains, my next move is to chuck this thing into the woods and be done. Don't bother with this product. On top of everything else, the cameras that do work are such a hassle to charge and many times drop the internet connection when you go to set them back up. I am about $500 out on junk and sadly will gradually replace all of them as they break.

Update: entire system/website is gone. No customer support. My entire security system is GONE.

I purchased this based on the reviews and price. Bought 2, one for the front and back of my house. Had them less than 2 months and am returning them. Installing it was the easiest part about this camera. I was having way to many difficulties from day one and their customer service support SUCKS! You need assistance and you have the option of message chatting or emailing. What kind of BS is that, i want someone to walk me through my issues not message me the booklet and tell me to follow the directions. Trying to sync it up to multiple devices was another frustrating project and again tech support SUCKED! I dont like that it has like a 5 - 7 second notification alert, so if I want to catch the neighborhood jerk that doesn't pick up after his dog it would be too late, I don't like that. I was also having MAJOR problems with the sd card. It would not be recording because I would get an error message saying "no card/no video". The sound quality was also VERY crappy! If you spoke into it you could not make out what was being said. I had one prior to purchasing the second one for my backyard and had to return it because it was not operating properly, should have stopped buying them at that point. The night vision was fine for completely still objects but people were a blurr when they walked passed my front door.
I would not recommend this system at all. Those who have it and are having no problems thats is great but it SUCKS!

1.0 out of 5 stars Motion detection could be better and don't trust 5-star reviews

Updated March, 2022. The seller solicited a review from me, promising me the camera for free. This is against Amazon policies, so I followed through with a 3-star review, which I thought was fair. But surprise, the offer for them to pay for the camera would only be fulfilled if I would change my review to a 5-star.

Oh, I changed the number of stars all right.

I wanted an inexpensive outdoor camera, and this fits the bill very fine. The motion detection is not fine-tunable. It only has settings at every 10%. 70% gives me numerous motion alerts from nothing (maybe a breeze) and at 60%, I have to be within 6 feet to trip the camera. I also have it hanging from an eve, so I set the \Video flip ON. Funny, the first frame or two on the clips are upside down, and then it flips. The app is slow downloading clips, but it is kind of what I expected. Overall, it seems to work fine, but I have only had it up for a month or two, let's see how it performs over time.

#2 UPDATE
Now it dropped my wifi and won’t connect at all. I reset, restarted, made new profile, deleted and redownloaded app, turned off 5g hz which I never had to do in the first place it always connected to my 2.4, literally did everything and will not connect. Piece of crap.

*UPDATE*
So after almost 3 months the motion detection has stopped working. I’ve tried multiple things and nothing. Even if I try to turn motion detection off, the symbol will pop up in the corner and go away immediately. Piece of crap. Now I have to but 3 different new cameras. Very annoyed.

It works well and gets the job done. It's a little delayed with the motion detection but overall does what it's suppose to do. I am pleased with the camera quality, it's very clear.

I am rating one star because only one camera works. If you want me to rate separate…. You’ll have to give me two separate rating places. I bought two of these cameras. I was able to get one of the to work without any problems. The other one, I haven’t been able to get it to work yet. I can’t get it to charge or anything. I didn’t need them immediately after I ordered them so I didn’t open the package Immediately, I won’t do that again. First time I’ve ever done that but I’ve had family problems and figured cameras would be okay in the box since they hadn’t been opened. Any-who, I opened them the other day and I’ve been trying to get this one to work. I think something is wrong with where you charge it. I don’t know. I’d cry some more if it would help but crying isn’t helping anything else so I doubt it will help this. The camera that works seems to be working fine but I was really expecting these to do all the great things they said they did.
