I have several different battery operated cameras around my property. I put this one on my screened in porch because delivery services tend to place packages in here and I have a door that leads into my home from the porch. This camera was the perfect size to go in there because I didn't want something that "stood out" while relaxing and my other cameras were quite a bit larger.
Pros:
-Neatly packaged and very simple to understand and install. Once the camera was charged, it probably took me roughly 20 minutes to install.
- Looks great! Looking good is half of it, right? Small and sleek, it looks modern and is not an eye sore.
- Has good camera quality as you can see from the photos attached. I didn't include a picture of the night vision, but it works very well also. I think you could easily identify any uninvited guests if the occasion called for it.
-The Siren is a new feature that none of my other cameras have and I could easily see where that feature could come in handy for certain areas. I don't keep it on for this area all the time, but if I was away for vacation or out of town I would probably turn it on. I think it's a nice feature to have and if you don't like it, just turn it off from the app!
Unknowns:
-Weather durability is something that due to the install location, I can't say much about. It will stay out of heavy rain for the most part. I do live in the south where humidity is extreme at times, so I will update the review if I have any issues.
-Battery Life is also something I can't speak to currently because of the time I've owned the camera. If I have any issues, I will come back and provide an update to the review. I do own several cameras like this one and I typically can go 6 months on a single charge. There are a variety of factors that play into this though like if you keep motion detection on 24/7, camera quality on HD vs SD, how often you are checking the camera on app, etc.
Cons:
The only con I have has nothing to do with the camera itself, which is why I didn't deduct a star. The APP used with the camera is my only "setback" about this camera. Again, I own several other cameras that use a different app and the other apps just seem a little more user friendly. Plus, this app consistently pushes you to upgrade to their "paid" services, which I have no experience with. Still, you get all the features I have on my other cameras for free, plus the option to take it further if you wanted. I just wish they didn't push it on you or gave you the option to "opt out". The App is also ever evolving and could be upgraded over time.
That's it! In summary, this is a great little camera for the price and gives you A LOT of extra security for a very fair price. Hope the review helps.

This DZEES CG6 Security Camera product is a wireless WiFi camera that is fit for both outdoor and indoor use. It is IP65 rating, which means it gives protection against low pressure water jets from any direction. As well as condensation and water spray. It is 1080P HD and has both motion detection and night vision. It comes with two storage options, using a MicroSD Card and you can also purchase a subscription to a Cloud Service for storage. The camera also offers 2-Way Audio. The camera has an internal 5200 mAh Lithium-Ion battery that can last up to 90 days depending on usage. It also comes with an alarm option. All controllable/configurable by the app. The camera provide 110 degrees wide angle view.
I already have two DZEES Solar Powered Cameras and I love them. This camera is smaller than the solar powered version. The unit didn’t come with a charge on it. So I plugged it in and about 8 hours later it was fully charged. That was the only thing that took any time. I installed the pedestal mount and secured the camera in place. It took about 2 minutes to install. It took about 2 minutes to download the app and register. Once that occurs you can attempt to detect the camera once you turn it on. Pairing and configuration was intuitive and straight forward. I had a working camera and app in less than 5 minutes.
The camera resolution is quite nice for a wireless camera and in testing, all features and functions performed as expected. The camera will send a notification to your phone when it detects motion so you can check the app immediately and see what is going on. Also it saves the recordings or photos which are accessible from the app if you install a microSD Card. You are able to listen to an activity near the camera or talk to guests in the back yard. The volume is not very loud .. however, it is clear enough to be heard. The night vision has a 33’ range is relatively clear. The 1080P HD is also impressive for a wireless camera. The view does have a slight fish eye view to it.
If you like this camera, I definitely recommend the solar power version. There are a few things that I prefer about that model. For one, it comes with a solar panel to trickle charge the camera. It also has a slightly larger battery pack @ 6700 mAh. But my favorite feature of the solar panel version camera is that it has a magnetic mount and it has a spot light that can be configured to turn on if it detects motion. Of course, those features come at about a $30 higher asking price. But well worth it IMO.
The manufacturer offers a Lifetime Warranty on the product.

It comes with an excellent quality picture and is absolutely wireless. One of the best remote cameras I have come across. Highly recommend this product for the price point. The Solar Panel Version is even more robust. I have not found a better camera for the money unless you require pan and tilt. This is one of my top picks for a stationary camera. This is the second Zumimall camera I purchased.
I had a void I needed filled which did not require an expensive camera to connect to my DVR based system. I found this one on Amazon and the specs appeared to meet my needs.
When I received the camera I wanted to test it out in different locations to see it's functionality. So I mounted it on a 2x4 so that I could move it around.
The first test or experiment was to put it in our back patio to test the night vision. We have a cat that comes in and out at all hours of the night. Also we have many other creatures "pass through" on their way to porridge for food.
I found the night vision to be very good. The camera captured our cat roaming around our patio every time he came out of his cat door. In addition, on one capture, it caught a skunk cruising by.
The second location I placed it in was a the top of our steps coming up too the house to monitor any persons that might come up the steps. Again, the camera performed well. However, there was a lot of street traffic (cars) in the background so I had to dial down the motion detection.
In both of these tests I found the camera to be satisfactory for my needs.
The battery usage increased as it recorded more traffic which was to be expected. I see there is an option for a solar panel to charge the camera. You may want to consider it. This would eliminate the need for unscrewing the camera from it's mount in order to charge it when necessary.
There is a "ding" alert that sounds on my iPhone anytime the camera detects movement. There is a setting to silence the ding for 30 minutes, 2 hours, and 12 hours. I didn't have a need to be alerted every time so I set the silence to 12 hours. I would like to see an "off" setting as an option.
The resolution of the camera ia very good. Even inn the night vision mode.
One thing I especially like about this company is the detail they put into their operation manual. Following the instructions the installation is very easy. And their email support is very good as well. just consider the difference in time zones if you submit a question or concern.
There are several time durations for recording. I have mine set to 20 seconds. You can set it to "auto" which will record up to 3 minutes.
Since I focused on the features that were important to me, Ii give the camera a high rating.
There is al cloud storage option which provides even more features and functionality of the camera. I'm not a fan of cloud storage and you can insert an SD minor chip to record to. I actually just had it set to record to my iPhone.
So I give the Dzees camera a thumbs up.

I purchased this wireless camera for outside my music room. The camera came well-packed in the box which included the camera, charging cable, mount + mounting screws, as well as the user guide. Scanning the QR code in the manual made it very easy to get it set up + connected with my internet. Once you download the App, just add the camera + you're all set. Installing the mounting bracket was simple and the 3 screws held it securely. I charged the camera for about 6 hours as per the instructions + threaded it onto the base/mount. Having used it for a week now, the battery is still almost 100%. I find the motion detection to be quite sensitive, even on the medium sensitivity setting, so I use the low setting. The image is sharp + crisp, with very good detail. While on the medium setting, even a Magpie triggered the camera. Night mode is excellent, with a clear image as well. It's easy to navigate thru the menu on the App for the settings. There are more settings if you use the optional plans (there are 3 levels). So far, I have chosen to not use any plan, so just using the basic notifications + library storage which are included. There is also a 7 day Cloud storage included even with no plan.
It's good to know that my yard is protected 24/7 and that any motion in view of the camera is reported immediately to my phone. I heartily recommend the DZees CG6 to anyone looking for a simple, well-priced security camera.

Wow have bought three security cameras from Zumimall, dzees cameras, but the CG6 smart security camera is smaller in size and more powerful. It’s has multi functional LED lights and can share with different users at the same time. The clarity of photos, video including sounds are superb. Its very easy to installed, it’s takes me 5 minutes to installed everything. Even though I have three of dzees cameras, but this one have many different functions that I like, its has night vision, motion detection, flashing light, indicator light, sensor light, PIR sensor, infrared light, and microphone. I’m very much impressed with all those functions. Another good thing about all dzees camera I like, its have 7 days free cloud rolling back storage, this means you don’t have to do a plan for its, expect if you want to get a longer cloud record . It’s also take up to 128 micro SD card, and it can work without SD card. Most importantly, this camera battery can take over two months when fully charge, depends on how frequently the camera is woken up. I’m so happy with this camera because when my kids go outside to play I can see what they are doing , I have one at my front door, and one at my side door , and one in my living room, when I go out I can see exactly what My kids are doing behind my back.

I've had the camera for almost 2 months now and I've had a chance to fully test it out. First, I didn't even fully charge it out of the box, but its still going strong on the initial charge, I am happy with the battery life. I've used a few other cameras from this same company and I like the picture quality, especially the night vision. Also, the security alarm is plenty loud and would startle anyone in close proximity so that seems to work well too. Lastly, the app is quite intuitive and easy to use, so overall, I've been very pleased with this item and would definitely recommend.

I have two 25-26' chicken runs and when I'm gone, I like to have cameras in their areas so I can easily check on them. Overall, I have three total runs and coops, and last year when they were built, I ordered about 8 or 9 of another camera to put in their coops (various positions inside) and in their runs. It was frustrating because often they wouldn't connect, and I had to send a few back for replacements because they weren't charging or connecting, so when I saw this camera, I decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise! I just figured to get good cameras, I'd have to spend a lot. And trust me, it's not like I can replace all my crappy ones from last year at one time, but I definitely found one to replace all those as I'm able.
I don't use the record function so I can't speak to that, but the picture is so clear every time I connect. And it connects every time. No spinning circles while I wonder if my chickens are doing ok or in their coops at night. The zoom is awesome, because on the other cameras (including my Ring floodlights), zooming in makes it all blurry. These aren't blurry at all, which surprises me. As you can see in the photos, the cameras are positioned on the actual coop and the runs are attached. One is 25', the other 26' and I can see all the way to the end, clearly.
The battery life has been good as well. Oh, and I can talk thru them. It must be clear because when I call out a chicken's name, she turns towards the camera to look for me. I've been through quite a number of products with these chickens as I've learned what worked well and what different. For cameras, this is it for me. Obviously they have other uses, too, so I'd recommend them highly.

There are several things need to be mentioned about this camera and brand.
1. Their app is not a universal version that lots brands use. The design is very intuitive and easy to check event recording videos, which is a huge plus when your app requires you to drag the time line to align the event and won’t allow you to fast forward the playback.
2. The camera mount base is one of the best in design. The materials used is still plastic, not sure if it’s for weight reduction, but it works okay. The holes sizes are matching screws unlike many others. The connector adjustment and camera rotational installation both can be adjusted, which makes it a lot easier. I have used one of their magnetic base which has bright and down sides. For security purpose, the screw-in installation is still my favorite.
3. Motion trigger is average. Will pick up the videos when packages are delivered, but mostly starts when delivery person is turning after dropping the packages. It’s mostly the motion detection range that caused this. Improvement on the detection algorithm should solve this fairly easy, if they want to make the improvement.
4. The only brand that offers 7 days cloud storage for free. Most (almost) other brands require subscription to access cloud storage, or you have to insert a SD card in the camera or base station (like Eufy, LaView, etc) to not worry about losing the video footage when cameras were taken or damaged. This might be a huge plus for a lot of people who want to save the sub fee which accumulates quickly.
5. This could be a mixed one, but with subscription, you will have the AI motion detection. I tried it for 30 days and I really like it, it tells you if it’s human, or pets, or vehicles. The notifications also pop on your Apple Watch if you use iphone and wear an Apple Watch. But I want some better motion detection range cameras so I didn’t subscribe to this service. I don’t subscribe normally, but for this AI detection I might choose to sub.
6. One of the best customer service I have met. YMMV always but it’s my experience.
Some that I am not a fan:
1. As mentioned earlier, the motion detection range/speed is average. Some other brands I used will start recording when delivery person start to bend over and drop the packages.
2. You click “play” icon to live stream the camera. You need to click the “stop” block icon to stop the stream. This is not a huge deal, but most apps just return to last page and live stream will stop automatically.
3. Battery is not 6 months for sure. Frequent motion detection trains the battery 20% in 2 weeks. Although this could just be my situation, I used some other brands and after 4 weeks of similar motion triggering, only 10% battery was drained. However, it’s unfair to make a final conclusion because how battery use programmed are different among all brands, some will stay on 100% for a bit longer so it has to be fully drained to know if the battery life is really long or short. So my experience is only for reference purpose.
Considering major big brands cameras are generally 50%-100% more expensive, I would say if you don’t want to spend too much, or you just want to try the battery cameras see if they work for you, Dzees would be one of my options. Hope my 2 cents help.

We originally got this because someone opened our screen door and tried to open the front door, which was luckily locked. Fortunately we were awake, but it was unsettling enough that I went ahead and bought a camera for the front of the house. This camera has done everything I wanted and more! It has motion sensor, which alerts you and sends a short video clip of whatever the motion trigger was. You can choose the length of the clip in your settings. The light also flashes repeatedly when it is triggered. You can also set it for a loud siren sound but I haven’t tested that out yet. I feel like the flashing light is enough of a deterrent. You can change the sensitivity of the motion detection so that it doesn’t pick up cars going by or snow. We are in Buffalo, NY and get some pretty heavy snow so it will occasionally set it off even when it’s on low.
I’ve also had tons of fun with the two way speaker! Like when my kids are coming home from school and I say “Who goes there?!” or something else hilarious. Mom jokes are on point with this cam. You can hear them and they can hear you, which also comes in handy with delivery people. Especially helpful during COVID since you don’t want to just go to the door and talk to them. The picture quality is better than expected! The night vision is as well! When you turn the light on and off it almost looks like it’s daylight! When you’re watching the live screen you can trigger the siren, turn on the light, turn on sound, record video or use the speaker. I’m sure there are other features I haven’t discovered yet but I’m having fun with it!
Make sure to charge the full 8 hours (or until the light turns green) the first time charging! After that you won’t need to charge for at least 2 weeks. Probably more if you don’t play with it as much as I do! As a single parent I’m always checking it and turning the light on, just in case. Setup was super easy, which is saying a lot coming from someone who is technologically challenged. Glad I purchased this! It has given us all a bit of peace. Would and HAVE recommended this item to friends and family. Can’t believe we didn’t have one sooner! Buy it!

First of all, this is my second purchase for Dzees cameras, the first time I bought 5 cameras of CG1 type. I’m using them for both inside and outside. I decided to go with CG6 as they are a little cheaper and would do the purpose I’m buying them for so I wanted to give it a try. Dzees CG6 camera is really great, it has almost all the functions the same as CG1. It has siren alarm, night vision( it has very clear infrared quality picture), etc. The picture quality really good as it has 1080 full hd quality. Motion sensor is very sensitive if it’s set on high so you have to be aware not put it high on a very high traffic or you can adjust the angle of your camera so you won’t drain your battery quicly. One more thing about this camera that I like a lot is that it has a seal on the power charger opening so you can still seal the sd card and when you connect it to a solar panel outdoors without being afraid of getting water inside the camera( a photo attached)

These are probably the best cameras you can get without having to pay for a fancy name like other expensive camera systems and they do more for less money !!! The sound is amazing you can literally hear people talking further away than the 33 feet these cameras claim to cover and the veiw is definitely further too the only problem I've encountered has nothing to do with the cameras themselves but is a wifi issue which is that there seems to be a 1 second lag from the time they go off til someone is at your door which depends on your wifi signal strength but even if your wifi cuts out these still record to your cloud storage which is awesome !!!! I love that you can have as many as 20 cameras for as little as 2.99 a month but you don't have to buy the service since you have unlimited 7 day storage for free, I decided to buy the extra because we live in a busy area and they literally record everything and the recognition software is dead on too I wanted the extra storage because I want to save all the videos again not that you would need to if you live more remote than us but these were such a great value that I went out and bought more and we intend to buy more in the future so far we have 3 and they cover not just my own outdoor area but I can pretty much see our entire block and hear it too :) definitely makes us feel safer and ecstatic about our purchase and the customer service is very well too thank you for making it affordable to protect our home and loved ones I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to have expensive quality security for a fraction of the price !!!!!

This camera exceeded my expectations. Easy to set up and get running. Only thing that took some time was figuring out what lighting was needed for night motion detection. We ended up just needing to keep our front door light on to have enough light for the IR to "see" people and the pet cat at the door. No night vision camera will work well without some light.
We do get some phantom alerts but we ignore them if the Pet or Person icon isn't showing. It is that reliable. Also, switching lights on and off is seen as motion.
The image is very clear and HD seems to work well and not drain the battery much more than standard. We use Live viewing often because of the clear picture.
The camera is weatherproof and sealed very well.
It took some experimentation and some help from the factory (who always answered our questions) to get the settings and lighting right. Time well rewarded.
We don't get much more than 2 or 3 days from the battery (not plugged in), but we use it for live viewing alot. We keep it plugged in for days and it seems to be ok with it so far. We'll have to ask about battery health if left plugged in. Another manuf's model we tried didn't last two weeks plugged in continually. Stopped taking a charge in less than two weeks.
We're happy with our results for our application.

Hi everyone, I'm back with my second review. I was totally upset when I received the Dzees Cameras because I couldn't get the cameras to charge, at least one of them, so' I guess it was a default from the manufactory or something. I'm using the other Dzees Camera and oh' boy' does it really work. I love this camera it has a siren built into it to alert you of and intruder, speaker to talk through if there's someone at your door. plus, it has night vision, if its dark outside you will be able to see the person are animal, depending on how you have it sat up. This is the best wireless camera that I every owned, I'm even protecting my neighbor's houses. I'm changing the camera rating from 1 star to 5+ stars. Yes, I would defiantly recommend Dzees Camera. Oh' by the way Mr. Tom did contact me about the default camera, and he's replacing it with a new one. Thanks, Tom for contacting me to solve my issue.

Getting cloud based storage for a camera free is a dying breed these days. Saving video to the cloud is now usually a premium feature that comes with a monthly fee. This camera and company claims that at some level, it will remain free forever which was enticing to me, because local storage, while convenient has its vulnerabilities if your structure is broken into or the camera is disabled/stolen. This one comes with a modest 1gb of cloud storage for up to 7 days for free, which is reasonable for what I need it for.
For the price point ($60) and the user friendly phone app, I believe this is one of the best cameras you can buy. While not great at anything, it is good at everything.
Pros:
Install - a breeze. 3 screws and attaching camera to mount (5-10 minutes)
Recording - admittedly, the way my camera is facing, it usually will take true movement to start recording. However, I could see if yours is facing a roadway it could set off many false alarms.
Camera is clear during day and low light conditions - does have night vision, but has visible halos when on. Imho you can see just as well with it off.
Has speaker you can talk through, though it seems to be a little wonky to use.
Microphone on camera seems to be pretty sensitive and picks up sound clearly and at a distance
App is easy to navigate and use
I have not drained the battery all the way, but given the current rate of use I project about 150 days of battery with a reserve, possibly up to 200 days to get to zero percent
Can easily add more cameras if needed (I believe up to 10)
Cons:
Even when I disable all lights on the camera in the app, it still lights up when it turns on, which I don't like. So, I covered the light with some electrical tape which did the trick.
I have the motion sensor set to the lowest setting, however it seems like it starts recording with a delay, maybe about 2-3 seconds, which isn't a big deal for my purposes, but could be a deal breaker for others. Not sure if that would change if it was set to a higher sensitivity.
When the app alerts you to movement, it puts a button at the bottom of the alert to start the siren. I am always afraid I am going to inadvertently hit this button.
No volume control in the app. It is either full volume or off.
Overall, a great product so far that has met my expectations, especially for the price point. Not having to deal with wires is also great as long as the battery holds up. Going into winter now, we will see if the cold degrades its performance.

We live in a pretty safe neighborhood, but as the area around us grows, we wanted a cost-effective way to keep an eye on things, especially when we travel or I'm home alone. After doing a good bit of research, we ordered three of this cameras because of the ease of installation, great video quality, battery life and low cloud subscription price.
We had a little trouble initially with one of the cameras, but tech support was quick and helpful. All three cameras are outside, one being 40-50 feet from our wifi gateway, and they all connected beautifully (my iPhone doesn't even connect that well at that distance.
The cameras offer many settings -- sensitivity levels, lights/sirens, length of video, live watch/talk. I am using this camera for 3 months now, and so far it has been excellent.
The camera is easy to setup, it comes with wall mount to screw it on to the wall/ceiling. i mounted this camera outside overlooking my front door and stairs, and hence I prefer that this camera has screws and not the magnetic mount, so no one can just pull it and steal it.
I like the waterproof enclosure to seal the USB wire after its plugged in, definitely helpful during rains to avoid water going inside.
Since front door is a busy area, the battery lasts about 3-4 days as it depends on how many times the motion sensor and recording gets triggered.
Video quality is great, details are clear and crisp.
The Dzeez app is easy to use and setup the camera, and i highly recommend their cloud subscription service which is extremely nominal fee and enables a lot of cool features like Activity Zones and AI analysis to detect person, pets, cars or packages delivered. One good thing is even if you have multiple cameras linked to your App, its 1 flat fee to cover the subscription for all of them. The App pushes instant alerts to my phone which is very useful. It is not perfect and sometimes false positives happen, but its' not a lot to get annoyed, and notifications are easy to manage when used with Activity Zones.
Few Cons to point out:
1. The WiFi connects on the 2.4 Ghz and does not support the newer/faster 5 Ghz bandwidth.
2. I also wish the battery lasted longer especially for usecases like mine where I installed it on Front door which is a high traffic area throughout the day.
3. No support to connect to Google Assistant/Amazon Alexa/Samsung SmartThings/IFTTT, so cannot use the camera with other smart home integrations.
Overall a great camera. For this price point, its the best FHD camera available in the market.

I ordered two of these and they do a real good job. I like them more than the ring I tried a few years ago. Since I set mine up about 3 months ago they have improved on the app two or three times and still improving.
Having said that, I recommended them to my bil and set them up for him, (he installed them where he wanted them) and he has troubles. But he is not electronic wise at all. I've had no problems with mine.
Update: I found that the troubles weren't with his cameras. It was us. They work fine now.

I bought the new motorized camera about a month ago, straight from the company. Wanted to wait before saying how well I think it works, and it does. The infrared lighting at night is clear for quite a way. My camera on the front, and the motorized camera at the carport can see all the way over to neighbors house, due to streetlamp. And built in infrared. The motorized camera can be moved all the way around by a "track circle" on the picture you are viewing. I just think all these cameras are well worth the money.

This is a phenomenal security camera. It works exceptionally well both indoors as well as outdoors. The motion detection is adjustable. It can be set to be very sensitive and pick up just about all movement or it has two additional settings that decrease the sensitivity. This camera also has a nice wide-angle lense so it is able to capture a large area. It also has a long-range antenna. In one of the photos, you can see the back of my home. I had the camera mounted to my shed which is about 100 feet away from my router. As you can see, the picture quality is still very good and the live video was very clear with no distortion. The camera itself is very aesthetically pleasing and well designed. The night vision is well above average for a camera at this price point. I was very pleased with this feature. I have purchased products from this manufacturer in the past and I am not surprised at the quality of this new camera. My only critique would be of the picture quality when zoomed in. The picture gets a bit distorted and it is difficult to make out facial detail. Other than that, this is a great product. I will definitely continue to buy from this company.

TLDR: Look no further for wireless cameras, these are the ones to buy.
So, I had a little problem with a package thief. I walked out one afternoon as a thief was holding my package... he quickly handed the package to me like he was an Amazon driver. So of course, I went and looked up outdoor wireless cameras for cheap.
These cameras are great, solid design that survive outdoors with no issue. The software is simple and intuitive. I never needed to look at the directions. The camera image is crisp and clear even in night vision mode. You can access the live feeds anytime, they have a light, an alarm and you can even talk over it like a walky-talky. Once mounted they are secure, and if for some reason someone tries to steal the camera you will know, and it records to the cloud so you would see who did it.
I now have one mounted at the front and rear doors of my house and I feel so much more secure. No more package thieves! So to make a long story shorter, these were a 5 star purchase. Ask me anything!
In Video one, you will see that the camera is very subtle and hard to spot. A light notifies anyone that they are being recorded.

I own many different brands and models of wireless cameras, so I’ve learned how well things can work. This is my first Dzees camera, and I took more than two weeks to test it prior to this review.
The first camera I received had some problems, and wouldn’t download to my phone. Dzees support responded the following day and eventually determined that the camera was defective. They suggested I replace it through Amazon, and I did.
The camera mount is mostly plastic, but easy to adjust and lock down. It comes with a USB cord (A <=> micro) but no power brick. There are mounting holes on the bottom as well as the middle of the back to handle any mounting position.
On the bottom is a large, easy to open rubber cap. This covers the micro-USB charging connection, a reset button, a power button, and a micro SD slot for cards up to 128Gb.
There’s a QR code to the Dzees app in the manual, which is pretty well written and easy to follow. I plugged in my email address and gave the app permissions to store videos, and connect to my network. I was up and running in a few seconds.
The app is laid out well, and it’s fast. Really fast. When I click on a notification while connected to my own network, I’m watching the video in under two seconds. Some of my other brands take 8 to 10 seconds to play.
The picture is 1080P HD video, but you can set the camera for SD or HD images, or select Auto. To find that setting, go to Live view and then go fullscreen. There is a blue light that signals activity/recording, but you can turn that off in settings.
With a Subscription Pan, you can set Activity Zones to trigger, or keep the camera from triggering, notifications when motion happens. Without a Plan, you can only adjust sensitivity for the entire area. Having a Plan also allows for notifications that specify people or pets.
A 20 second video takes about 2MB which means you could store approximately 1,000 videos per Gb. Even without a plan, you can access all recorded video on the SD card from the App. I don’t know whether the camera will overwrite the oldest files, or just stop when it’s full.
The night vision function works very well, and you can adjust the light level necessary to trigger it. Battery and WiFi info including strength, MAC and IP address info is easy to find. Firmware can be updated from the app without removing the camera from it’s mount.
The mic is super sensitive, but sometimes it records ridiculously loud. A mouse fart can sound like a trumpet. I’ve recorded birds flying nearby, and they sounded like a dragon landing. Sensitive can be good, but crazy loud is annoying. Dzees could make this better.
With no plan at all, you get 7 days of free cloud storage, but no “Intelligent Notification” or “Activity Zone”. Intelligent Notification is a cloud service whereby the video is analyzed by the Dzees servers and they’ll mark your phone’s notification as a person, pet, or vehicle.
Activity Zone is the ability to customize an area for alerts. For example if a part of the lens sees road traffic but you only want to be alerted if someone is at your door, you need this service. The camera still records everything, but you’re only alerted if there is movement in the specific area you outlined.
Cloud Recording – No Plan - you get 7 days of free storage up to 1Gb. Basic – you get 15 days of storage up to 3Gb. Plus – 30 days of storage up to 5Gb. Pro – 60 days up to 10Gb. The device comes with a free 30 days of Motion Awareness, if you want it. Everything’s working perfectly, and I didn’t sign up for anything, so hopefully nothing changes at the end of 30 days.
This is currently my favorite camera. I do have others with slightly better sound quality and smoother recordings. But for the price, ease of setup, local storage, fast access, and stand-alone design (no hub needed), this is currently the one to beat.

This is very effective for security both day and night. Every time motion is detected it can be set to record video for a predetermined time. I currently have it set for 15 seconds. I use the standard definition video which shows great clarity without pixilation. Its a simple camera with some nice features. The Dzees app is very intuitive and easy to set up and logged onto my wifi and updated firmware instantly. It has a wifi meter built into the app so you can make sure the camera is receiving a good strong signal. The app makes sorting through video by date easy and is pretty responsive.

First, good security cameras for my property. I bought two and may get a third.
Secondly, I would like it not to run down my battery on my 2021 smartphone with notifications of events. It seems to capture everything which is fine but I'd like to "snooze" notifications and have a clock feature for customizing times. The 30 minutes, 2 hours, and 12 hour snoozing are inadequate for when I am home and working outside within view of the camera. Add a 4hr or an 8hr?
Thirdly, how about being able to control cameras with the snooze option independently of one another? Would be nice to be able to tell one camera to snooze then let the other continue to function normally.
Fourth, when creating Activity Zones the UI is screwy on an iPhone. If I move the border to the border of my screen then I cannot readjust it.
Fifth, App's UI is buggy on iPhone.

However, the motion detector is delayed with starting and it doesn’t record for very long. So if someone takes a package of your property, by the time your notified and connected to the camera they are already walking away or driving off in their car. It’s pretty frustrating! Also there is no way to set different zones areas on how much you want in vision or at least that setting does not work. I will eventually end up replacing this with a better quality camera.

Without solar panel you will have to take camera down take it in the house to fully charge it again. Night vision is very clear & picture quality is excellent.

I purchased these cameras around cyber Monday and from the time I received, unboxed, registered, activated and began using them they have been super easy and impressive.
Picture quality is great for the price, I am using the 7 days of cloud storage and what's best is they are battery powered. I live in the rocky mountain area so it can get cold. I have yet to see how they hold up I'm freezing weather but so far it is good.

The motion detection is a little ineffective if motion is further than about 9ft. The camera field of vision is much better than the PIR effective area. I have security lights which were cheap and use PIR, and they're extremely accurate. It's a bit of a let down, and my camera placement had to be reconsidered. People say battery life isn't great, but what do they expect? Battery life is perfectly acceptable.
Update: My PIR was tripped by a rock hyrax the other night, and it must have been about 20ft from the camera, and the PIR has been working a bit better lately at my gate. It must be how I set up the one camera which I was testing, and I will review how that camera is set up.
Often, if I look at a live view, the camera will trigger a motion detection seconds after turning off the live view. This is a bug, and I can reliably reproduce it, which means I can reliably expect it, so it isn't much of an issue.
I noticed that my IR beams are triggered by the cameras as well. I'll have to find a solution, but this is quite a problem to be aware of.
I will need two cameras to cover one field of vision, so I will have to put a lot of thought into camera placement, but either way, I'm very happy, especially for the price. I just need to determine how many more cameras I need.
Fix the PIR, and these are a winner.

In November, my car was almost stolen from my driveway. Long story short, the thieves were able to break in and get control of my cars computer in only a couple of minutes. Luckily, my daughter heard the car start and ran outside yelling at them. The two punks immediately ran off, they hadn't had enough time to get control of the transmission and from what I understand, only needed a few more seconds.
I have never owned a security camera before and needed to add some layers of security in a hurry, this being the first layer. After doing some research I decided to purchase two of these cameras. I was impressed by the reviews here, it seemed like this camera would serve my purpose quickly and the price was right. It has a siren and a strobe light and alerts you on your phone if it detects activity.
The cameras were delivered the very next day. Mounting and setup was a breeze. Navigating through the app was intuitive and easily understood. Setting up activity zones was also easy. I have them mounted in the eves of my house, one facing up the driveway and the other facing down towards the street. They are mounted in a way so they also "keep an eye on each other" in case someone tries to access them.
I've had them now for a month and have learned how they can and cannot meet my needs. The camera does everything it is advertised to do, the videos are clear, the battery lasts once you get them setup in a way that captures only what you want and ignores the rest.
They are smart and do well to differentiate between people and animals. Mine are setup to detect people only, that's all I'm interested in. They do everything they are advertised to do. I only wish the siren and strobe lights could be used ONLY when a person is detected in the activity zones. This would be great to help scare off any potential trespassers. I am not able to use these features because they are activated when the camera starts recording any movement within its field of view, like when my dogs go outside, a car drives by, or a cat crosses my driveway. The activity zones will send a push notification to your phone when they are crossed but at least for me, I will sleep right through that. I don't know if other "passive" cameras can do this but if the siren and strobe light were activated only during this push notification, this would put this one ahead of the competition and would be an excellent camera.
I would recommend these to others, I even bought two more for my girlfriends house. You just need to first consider what you will use them for and how they fit your needs.

Seems to be a good camera. I bought two; one for the front door and one for the backyard. They work well. Sometimes it has a problem recognizing my SD card. The image is good. Sensitivity is good and you can select different settings. The ad did not say you had to pay for extra features like the AI analysis which you can set to recognize a person, a pet, or a vehicle, and setting the activity zone. I think they could have been more up front about this. The AI analysis is one feature I looked at before buying this, and then find out I have to pay for it.

These cameras work pretty well. However, there is about 5 minutes of lag from the time motion is detected. we ordered 3 cameras. We ordered one with a solar panel. This one's color night vision is good and the battery remains fully charged. The other two cameras require charging at least every two weeks and the night vision mode does not work at all. The one located on the patio goes offline often. However, Dzees customer support has been fairly good but the troubleshooting did not resolve the issue. I've ordered a replacement. Hopefully, this will resolve the issues. No wireless camera is going to perform as well as hardwired. For the most part Dzees cameras are a good value. I would recommend purchasing and reach out to customer support to assist with any issues.

This battery will never ever last months ever. I charged mine fully before using (made sure to do that to get my best battery usage) and this battery literally has one bar left after not even a week.. almost done. So put it this way even if I shut motion and everything else off there’s no way this battery will even last me one month. I have a camera that the battery does really last months. Who wants to take an outside camera inside or down every week to charge it. That’s a complete waste of money I could’ve found a cheap plug in one anywhere and paid less then half of the cost of this damn thing. Well, before I get too negative… this is a pretty decent camera for $49 and it actually delivered for my VERY basic needs— I just wanted a system that alerted me if a package was delivered at our home while on vacation, this basic camera does that! If you’re looking for a full function, no subscription system… DON’T buy this! Yes, there is no hub and the app is somewhat easy to use, but all I get are 20s clips, that only pick up part of the action… if you want longer clips, you have to buy a subscription. Very limited features.. again, if you want to customize or use addition features… you have to buy them.
Again for $49 pretty decent camera, but if you want to maximize all the services or want anything longer than a 20s clip, IT’S GOING TO COST YOU!
Next time I might pay a little more upfront to really get all that I want vs being forced to pay monthly fees.

My only issue with the camera is that it appears it does not record actively in real-time when a person or object trips it’s signal or motion sensor. You will get an alert and look but nothing. Which brings me to if actively recording like that you will run the battery down and need to recharge the camera. It's an OK, average camera, probably good for up to 25ft. Anything beyond that, you won't able to see people face. It's sensitive to wind and rain. It'll notifies you of something, even if you have specifically set notification only for people. However, the biggest downfall is battery life. Without being hook up to an outlet, it'll uses up all the battery in a day. Even with the small solar panel set up, and right now it's winter, you won't get any juices from the solar at all.
I have to drill hole up on the fascia board to run wire to connect the camera to my outlet.
Also, out of the box set-up, it MAKES you pay $2.99 for the plan, and that's supposed to be a month. Unbeknown to me, 10 days later they automatically recharge another $2.99. I have to disconnect my Visa card to Google Play Store. So, beware of the $2.99.

I can walk in front if it, wave, get up close and it never tells me any motion is occurring. The only thing it really pics up is super loud sounds and even that is hit or miss. A little disappointed bc I had someone banging on my door at 1 am and bought this to be alerted someone was at my door. Unfortunately that’s not the case. Live streaming works well but unless your on the app and watching good luck. :/

My camera that i use for the driveway came with the solar panel because of the activity. The last week or so, this camera has been recording over 500 videos a day of absolutely nothing but my driveway (with and without a parked vehicle). It got to the point where my camera is off more than on now because it's constantly dead. Mind this camera is only about 2 months old and worked great until the last couple weeks. It has been identifying pieces of snow, rocks even cracks in the cement as a pet being detected. Camera is completely updated but this has become a waste of money really. I did pair these with a solar panel for constant charge so I could install and just leave them wherever. The install is super easy and have had 0 problems so far. Would highly recommend for someone on a budget but cares about quality

I installed the camera in a almost complete dark room and expected it to detect people because it has PIR sensor, but it does not detect me at all. I have placed the camera walked around the room, waving hands and nothing. The PIR sensor should trigger the camera as it looks for thermal radiation difference (body heat). To demonstrate I did a test by taping the camera lens (simulating the dark room) and trying to trigger the camera by detecting me with the PIR sensor. You can see that it does not detect me at all.
I must add that I did not accepted the 30 day free trial of their paid plan. I think that is the hook. when people first install the camera and it prompts the offer to try their plan for free, everything works smoothly. But after the 30 days free, it does not even detect people in dim conditions. Pretty much useless for its intend. Also, by then, its too late to return it through Amazon. People end up stuck with something that wont function at least to be usable.
After recording this video I accepted the 30 day free trial of the subscription, placed the camera in the initial place and captured me everytime. the room is extremely dark. This tells me that the PIR sensor is disabled when you are not paying a subscription. I must clarify the company does disclose that the Activity Zone and AI Analysis (tells you if it detected a human, box or a pet) does not work when you dont pay, but they do not disclose that the PIR sensor wont be enabled either.

Both daytime and night video are just adequate displaying video. Daytime video blurres on passing cars and the night view has a short range due to it's inadequate IR lighting. My biggest pet peeve is the camera sharing. In order to share with someone else, they have to have their own (separate) account and cameras. This is a very limiting feature. Every other camera I've used has allowed viewing using the camera app and inputting the camera parameters. Lastly, the plastic mount is a joke. It constantly loosens up and is fragile. Something not desired on a camera that requires to be taken down for recharging.

It has a 5 sec delay before recording and appears that videos are stored on the server, not on the SD card which creates a delay. It should be as simply as going directly from the camera to the router to your phone.
Example: With the setting for 10 or 20 sec recording it takes 6 seconds for the next recording to begin and it is normal that you will not see the thing that triggered the motion detector as by the time the camera starts to record, the subject has left the viewing area, resulting in an empty or no motion video. Way too many false recording are randomly triggered no matter what sensitivity settings, on average about 16 or 24 per day.
Picture is clear and has good distant range but audio is so so ...
If you want or need real time video, this can only be accomplished with the Live setting and then it drains the batteries.

The point of buying a security camera that notifies you when there's movement is to have one that does just that. This stupid camera only will tell you that a person was detected when you unlock your phone. It doesn't come through like a text message. I could walk in front of the camera, then wait an hour and unlock my phone and once I do the notification will come through. Absolutely pointless in preventing theft. The camera itself works great, but what a stupid setup. I wrote them about this and they said "turn on your phone setting for getting messages while locked" as if thats a thing...so irritated. I bought a useless camera, dont make the same mistake.

The reviews were good and it advertised the features I wanted. Then it arrived and I spent three weeks trying in vain to get the camera to synch up to their app which I'd downloaded. I followed the directions in their little manual (and later the same procedure in a video they sent me), and each time the app gave up right away trying to scan the QR code on the camera. The app had several other usability problems I haven't the heart to describe here. Suffice to say that I have a Master's degree in Engineering, I write apps for a living and I could not get their app to work with the camera.
Their tech support was also hair-pullingly awkward to communicate with. They want you to sign into a website to deal with your support ticket (but it didn't take the login credentials they'd had me create in the app!), and once on that site you don't get emails that they've responded. I guess they think you've got nothing better to do than hang out there waiting for a reply? In any case the help was useless once they replied.
Maybe I got a lemon and this really is a good camera. Bully for those who got this thing to work. I'm sending it back and will never go near this frustrating company again.

Don’t buy this camera if you’re hoping to use it for anything more than a decoy. The video starts way too late after triggered, the updates never work right. Picture quality is decent. Mine are triggered by the sun every minute or so. So I get about three weeks out of a charge. I’m spending my money on an Arlo system next I guess. Bummer because these were at a price point where I could afford to get 6 or 8. Glad I only wasted my money on two to start with. Disappointed.
