This product works excellent. It does everything I need. I use it as a doggy cam, when I'm gone for work. I can check in on a lunch break, etc. Check to see if autofeeders have gone off, etc. I can also call her name out (you can talk through it from your phone on the app!). I didn't want any subscription fees. I used a micro SD. (If you want to record without Micro SD that's a subscription).
I don't think we can download the videos for free as you use their app to download them and THAT says you need a subscription (from what I gathered).
I downloaded a screen recorder, and just record the footage I need (like the vid I posted). It's a work around that is FREE! If I couldn't get a work around, I'd have dinged them a star.
The first one I got was a dud, it was stuck pointing up, would not tilt. I got to use the Amazon return and replace option for the first time, worked great. If you get a dud, reorder it, try cam #2.
The scheduling to record certain times doesn't seem to work. What I do is this, the camera has a shielding option...when I'm home, on the app, I click camera shield (not recording/pointed up/down) and and before I leave I toggle to remove shielding.
I couldn't go back to leaving my dog alone without a cam. A+ purchase.
If IMOU reads this, allow people who record on Micro SD to save their videos without a subscription directly! Otherwise great product.

I waited several months to review to give an honest opinion. I purchased this to keep an eye on my furbaby while I am at work. I tell you for the price, this item is well worth it! Night vision is superb. It detects motion and sound. Of course you have to adjust it individually so it doesnt record a sneeze. But it is 2 min settings set up. The motion is so good that at first I thought I had a ghost in my home because it would activate when we were asleep. After better inspection, the reason behind it was that a dust bunny had floated in front of the camera Haha...the picture quality is not exceptional, but it is good for the price. Picture is color during the day with black and white during night vision. Talking about the price, you can purchase one for each room! Which I have plans to do. I just ordered one to send to my mom so I can make sure she is fine. Wifi is required for this camera. I did buy an added microchip only because I didnt know if I would need it or not. I love this item! It has come in handy when maintenance men have come into my home. I have used it to help my kids find something in my room that I need. I have used it to tell my furbaby to stop barking at the squirrel.. haha.. the only negative I feel is that the cord is short at 9 ft. therefore I can not screw to the top of the wall. I do not use the cloud although it is an option.

I absolutely love these cameras! The quality is great, it picks up motion easily, the night vision is really good and the app isn't too horrible! Paying $9.99/month for cloud storage with up to 5 cameras is a pretty good deal too. My only complaint is that the phone app doesn't always give you notifications if the app is closed. It's also somewhat difficult to 'download' a video and save it to your phone as well. I do LOVE that I can watch the cameras from my computer though!! It seems as though the app/software works better on a computer vs a phone. Regardless, I LOVE these cameras!

Am very please with this brand so far. Very clear pictures day and night. And very clear sound, although it is a bit strange to spy on my mum and can hear very clearly the sound on her TV etc. But the sound is not so clear for her to hear me. The motion detection is also good. I get an email to inform me whenever there's any people moved within the camera range.
It was fairly easy to set up. Just plug it in and follow the instructions. We did have some problems at the beginning with the memory card(not included) but it seems to have solved it self out after a day or so. I am able to check on my mother in a different country and look my own sitting room all on the same app.
I have only bought one to test after seeing how good it was with the one my brother set one up for our elderly mother. I wasn't sure if I was able to monitor different cameras in different countries but my worries was unnecessary. So, I am getting a few more to complete the whole house inside and out.

I was sceptical when I made my purchase. So I only bought one. There were so many mixed reviews on the camera I was hoping it would work for me. I as plesently surprised. The picture is great quality even the night vision. Panning feature could be a little better but for the most part it allows me to check on my fur baby. I was so pleased I ordered another one and so far it's working great too.
All I can suggest is buy one and see if it works for you.
On the first one I downloaded the newest software version and it glitched for a few minutes. The second one I didn't and it works just great.
I definitely recommend this camera for your pet or child. It's loud when it pans so don't get it if you want to be discreet.

For such a cheap camera, I have been very impressed. We got this to keep an eye on our dog while we are gone, and it has performed as expected. You can zoom in on the video and watch the feed live. We are going to buy an SD card to try the timed recording option as well. (can update if have any negative effects) This machine also features two way talking, which we don't use often but is a nice option. It also has an alarm function but I haven't really figured out the rhym or reason as to why it goes off when it does, so I leave it off. (My husband set it off, so I would recommend only setting the alarm function to on if you're going to be gone a while perhaps.) overall, so far I'm impressed!
