Kasa outdoor camera-Works great
Second one of this camera ordered. First one installed and connected easily and has been working great for 6+ spring/summer Chicago months. Tapo software simple to use and share access. Video clear quality and sound good. Microphone sound is fair. Installed with 512gb micro card. So far card playback memory goes back to install date(6+ months) on ‘motion detection recording only’ setting with person mode. Easy to navigate through monthly/ daily recordings. Seems to track people/ dog well. Do get many non person recordings each day even though set to person mode especially in inclement weather. Indicates next to each recording if person or other motion detected in that recording. Other camera I own gets about 3 weeks 24/7 recording with a 128gb microcard. Have not tried 24/7 recording or patrol mode with this camera. Has zone and person detection. Can pay for cloud use if desired.

TP-link Tapo's cams have compatibility with Kasa Cams
I have been purchasing and using TP-Link Kasa smart device products off Amazon for several years. In the past year, I started adding TP-Link Tapo smart devices to compliment the TP-Link smart devices I've already invested in, and deployed throughout my home. TP-Link has provided the convenience of bridging my Kasa smart device control account into one new Tapo Care app. that I use to monitor and control both the TP-Link Kasa and Tapo devices. TP-Link support has been very helpful and timely to assist and resolve questions or issues you may have with their devices. Since 2016, and 26+ devices, wfi, audio, smart, cams, switches, plugs and solar, I have found TP-Link technology very reliable, easy setup, and well integrated. This wireless cam along with a TP-Link solar panel keeps this cam going without interuption.

I love these. Good value for the money.
Inexpensive way to add surveillance capability to remote locations like a vacation home as long as you have electrical power and internet access. Order micro SD cards with them since the playback feature is really helpful. Motion detection is fair for the price range. Night vision is decent for the price range. You can order 9-12 volt DC power extension cords if needed. I used one to mount camera on 20 foot pole next to a building.
